Mrand Mrs*** made a reservation at our hotel during a sellout weekendUnfortunately, an inhouse
guest refused to check out and that put us in an oversold positionWe cannot physically remove
someone from a room and
did not want to request a police escortWe made a reservation for the
*** at the Doubletree, which was closer to their event site than the HarnptonIn addition, we paid
for their two-night stay; in the hotel industry, standard operating procedure for a walked guest is to pay
for one night's stayWe profusely apologized to the *** hut they could not be satisfiedThey have
demanded that we pay them $for their "pain and suffering" over this incidentIt is our opinion
that we have done as much as we can -we absolutely will not pay them $
