Review: Several months ago I tried to make a reservation at The Hampton Inn in Warrenton for an event I have attended for over 10 years. I have been a guest at this hotel in the past with no issues. I attempted to make the reservation using my [redacted] in lieu of paying in advance which I have never ever done before. The manager [redacted] was rude and abrasive, explaining it was his decision. I terminated the call and contacted Corporate Headquarters , The office of the President. An executive representative was extremely apologetic and proceeded to book the room and even added points for the inconvenience. We exchanged emails, which were forwarded to [redacted], General Manager of the Warrenton Franchise. He was very antagonistic in his response. This trail is on record at corporate. I received conformation and then learned about a month later I would need to stay an additional night. I called the hotel directly and was told my reservation was canceled, and she was not sure why. I asked her if she could re-book it, and she said yes but could not use my [redacted] as that would have to be done through corporate or the 800 number. I decided to book the room anyway and left it at that. I did call corporate and asked why the room was canceled and they said it was done at the franchise level and they would look into and give my account credit for the points. I thought that was strange, but forgot about it. I went to check in to Hampton Inn on August 29, 2014 for my 2 night stay at around 7PM. I was greeted at the desk by a gentleman who was friendly until I gave my name. He immediately became pensive and agitated. He said I did not have a room because he just canceled it. I thought he was kidding until I noticed his badge identifying him as [redacted]. I could not believe it and said I had a conformation number and he said no longer do you. I said is this legal, and he said he can do whatever he wishes. I asked if corporate was aware of this action and he said no.Desired Settlement: I want to be reimbursed for my entire trip, and health expenses
