That would be a lot of work for very little benefit. Hampton R&D is simply not living up to their responsibility for shipping damage. Please recommend further steps (inside or outside Revdex.com) that I can take to resolve this.

Hampton R&D claims that the product has not been damaged in shipping, and that I am actually using. That is incorrect. The shipping company has processed a shipping damage claim under [redacted]Shipment # [redacted] / Freightquote.com BOL # [redacted]I would gladly return the unusable radiator. I have told [redacted] and Hampton R&D repeatedly that the only reason I have not done so yet, is the high cost of about $275 for the return shipment. Attached are 2 pictures to show how large the item is, and why it is so expensive to ship the unit back. You can also see the damage clearly. I even did a pressure test on the unit to see if it might be salvageable (it isn't). For the shipping company my photo documentation was sufficient to resolve the insurance claim. They did not require any additional documentation. The insurance claim was resolved with Hampton R&D since their business relationship was with him. I don't know the details of their settlement. My only recourse is to recover the damages from Hampton R&D. To confirm my side of the story Revdex.com could reach out to the shipping contractor [redacted] and [redacted] ( [redacted]). Both will be able to confirm that this is a simple case of shipping damage. (Re Shipment # [redacted] / BOL # [redacted]).Maybe [redacted] has a way to re-open the dispute case, but I have not found a way to do it on their website. If you have other suggestions please let me know. Regards,[redacted]

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Here's what I can propose toward a compromise with Hampton R&D:option 1: I return the unusable radiator. I will arrange packaging on a palette and truck freight. I can pay for the freight changes, but only if I can be reasonably sure that Hampton will refund me later. This will increase Hampton's liability from $650 to about $925. I'm open for suggestions on how to do this transaction. Maybe we can use FOB terms "FOB Destination, freight collect". This way Hampton will pay the shipping charge when they receive the item. Also, I would need to know which destination address to use. Hampton's or the warehouse at the supplier's site.option 2:Instead of a cash refund I would accept a replacement unit. Hampton R&D could order the replacement radiator from their supplier and send it to me fully insured at no charge. This way Hampton earns another sales commission.Regards,

As far I can tell the vendor has not made a good faith effort in resolving the case via [redacted]. I have always been willing to return the product. This has not happened because neither the vendor nor myself is willing to pay for the return shipping cost of ~$250. Return shipment seems unproductive since the value of the product is $375.The damaged unit has always been and still is available for inspection at my house in [redacted]. So far no adjuster has contacted me.It seems to me that the vendor has failed to properly insure the shipment, contrary to his assurances, and now he fails to take responsibility for a simple case of shipping damage.Regards,[redacted]

Review: On Oct-23 2015 I purchased a residential radiator from [redacted] Hampton R&D, [redacted] for $375.95 plus $274.70 shipping. The product arrived Nov-4 with significant and obvious damage. It is unusable. For over 4 months [redacted] has been attempting to resolve the matter through his shipping contractor. It appears that he has been unsuccessful, and it is time to refund the purchase price.

Previous attempts to resolve this have been e-mails, phone conversations, and [redacted] conflict resolution process.

I am asking for a refund of $650.65 from Hampton R&D.Desired Settlement: I am asking for a refund of $650.65 from Hampton R&D. This covers the cost of the goods and shipping.
