Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:It does not satisfy the long term implications of this mistake Core Logic has offered, over the phone, to pay one year's worth of my flood insurance They are sending this to me in writing Regards, [redacted]

I'd be more than happy to look into the specifics of this particular flood determination It doesn't appear that Mr [redacted] provided a street address for the property in question nor copies of any referenced documents If he is willing to provide this information, I would appreciate it Otherwise, I will attempt to locate this information I'll provide more responsive information once I look into the flood maps for this particular property, but one important thing to note is that our flood determination services are provided for lending institutions, such as Ameris, in order that these institutions may comply with federal flood insurance regulations which require that if a building on a property securing a loan is in the mapped Special Flood Hazard Area then flood insurance is required There are ways to appeal the maps through FEMA, which it sounds like Mr [redacted] is pursuing. But I'd like to look into this particular property and then come back to Mr [redacted] to speak more about our flood determination, this flood map, and possible alternatives for him Thank you for the opportunity to respond to Mr [redacted] 's concern [redacted]

Revdex.com: we have contacted National flood advocate I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Regards, [redacted]

[redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I did provide the documentation to [redacted] ***, who apparently did not provide it to Core Logic.? The job is incomplete as far as I am concerned. They may provide the service at the request of [redacted] but the bank charges me for the service.? The bank is simply a liaison.? I am the end consumer and I am the person who pays the bill for the services provided by Core Logic.? Their fee comes straight out of my wallet.Once they have reviewed the documentation and made a determination, I will be happy with the service provided, regardless of the outcome.? I am simply asking for a fair review of all variables and data involved.I will be in touch with [redacted] immediately and ask them to forward the Elevation Certificates to Core Logic.? ? The FloodCert #is : [redacted] Regards, [redacted]

CoreLogic Flood Services is in receipt of this complaint, is reviewing the matter, and is sharing a copy of this complaint with our client, the mortgage company I am proposing that I will soon contact Mr [redacted] directly to discuss his concerns In the meantime, I can be reached by telephone at [redacted] or via e-mail at ***@corelogic.com Thank you for the opportunity to work directly with Mr [redacted] to resolve this matter [redacted] CoreLogic Flood Services

I have been in contact with Mr [redacted] and had discussions with him about his concerns related to the flood zone determination made for CoreLogic Flood Services’ client, the mortgage company I have made a proposal to Mr [redacted] which I hope will resolve his concerns I understand he is currently considering the proposal, and I am awaiting his response In the meantime, I can be reached by telephone at [redacted] or via e-mail at ***@corelogic.comThank you, [redacted] ***CoreLogic Flood Services

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:transparency and accountability is requested under FOIA Regards, [redacted]

Having spoken directly with *** *** ***, I understand this complaint relates to an insurance claim *** *** and her husband filed with her insurance company. CoreLogic Flood Services is not an insurance company and its services do not appear to be at issue. I have provided information to *** *** regarding the National Flood Insurance Program’s Flood Insurance Advocate who may be able to assist her with her claim and with the insurance company. I’ve asked *** *** if we can agree to close this Revdex.com complaint and am awaiting her response. *** ***CoreLogic Flood Services

I do understand *** ***s frustration. Upon review of the flood map, a small portion of the back of the structure is within the Special Flood Hazard Area (Zone VE) on the flood map. I have attached some relevant documentation including an image taken from FEMA's own map service portal, which is accessible to *** *** as a resourceI would propose a phone with *** *** as the most effective way to move this towards a resolution. I will let our client, *** ***, know that I am proposing to work directly with *** *** on this matter going forward. One important thing to note is that *** *** has hired us, and relies upon us, to read the FEMA Flood Insurance Rate Maps and report the flood zone based on this map. This is required per federal flood insurance regulations imposed by the lending regulators such as the FDIC and OCC. We are not hired as engineers to interpret flood insurance studies beyond the Flood Insurance Rate Map.Having said that, as a service to *** ***, and in an effort to resolve this matter, I am more than happy to do the legwork to apply to FEMA for a Letter of Map Amendment using the Elevation Certificate provided by *** ***. If FEMA issues a Letter of Map Amendment on this property, then FEMA will be amending the flood map to state that the building is in Zone X (not VE). This would be the desired outcome, if I understand *** ***s intention. I'd like to discuss this with *** *** first, but I am hopeful that this will be acceptable as the next course of action. Please invite *** *** to reach out to me directly at his earliest convenience at *** ** ***Thank you for the opportunity to resolve this matter directly with *** ***
