We are regretful of your experience with your son's visit Due to HIPAA compliance we cannot comment on the treatment or procedure performed You are welcome to call us and we will have the clinical department answer any question regarding the medical portion of your review On the collections issue, we do have protocols in place for account balances to provide customers opportunities to contact our office regarding billing issues Our system reflects that four (4) billing statements were sent to the address on file on the following dates: 04/24/17, 05/30/17, 07/3/17, and 08/07/ If the customer has not contacted our office regarding the balance, we assume that the customer is ignoring the balance Our policy is to send out any un-paid balances to collections after four statements Once the account is sent to collections the account is locked to prevent any future appointments until the balance is paid in full The disputed $balance is coming from the date of service of 03/28/17, we collected from the customer the amount of $for the visit copayment When the claim was processed by the customer’s insurance company, the visit was process with a $copayment responsibility from the patient As stated above, statements were mailed to the patient The balance on the statement were $ A 25% collections fee is added to the balance once the account is turned over to collections Once the account is sent to collections the customer needs to contact the collections agency directlyOnce the balance is paid in full, the account will be un-locked and the customer will be able to schedule an appointment to see the doctor if needed [redacted]

On the collections issue, we do have protocols in place for account balances to provide customers opportunities to contact our office regarding billing issues.  Our system reflects that four (4) billing statements were sent to the address on file on the following dates:  04/24/17, 05/30/17, 07/3/17, and 08/07/17.  If the customer has not contacted our office regarding the balance, we assume that the customer is ignoring the balance.  Our policy is to send out any un-paid balances to collections after four statements.  Once the account is sent to collections the account is locked to prevent any future appointments until the balance is paid in full.   The disputed $25.00 balance is coming from the date of service of 03/28/17, we collected from the customer the amount of $35.00 for the visit copayment.  When the claim was processed by the customer’s insurance company, the visit was process with a $55.00 copayment responsibility from the patient.  As stated above, 4 statements were mailed to the patient.  The balance on the statement were $20.00.  A 25% collections fee is added to the balance once the account is turned over to collections.  Once the account is sent to collections the customer needs to contact the collections agency directly.
