Review: We hired Hands of Gold LLC. services to finish the basement of our one family home. The owner stated as follows that, "the job will be complete within 4 weeks of beginning the project." They began work on 04/28/15, as is noted on the contract. After constant calling, numerous text messages, and several voicemails, the contractor would appease my concerns by making pit stops at my house and continue his piece-meal approach for finishing my basement. As of a week ago 6/24/15, the job was still unfinished and what was complete had been poorly done. Both my faucets are leaking, there is incomplete trimming, my light switches work improperly, damage was done to my main circuit box, and the tile work looks as if it was put together by an individual with little or no experience. I have never been so dissatisfied with a business before. I do not enjoy making negative remarks about anyone or any business however, others should be forewarned of the perils lurking around the corner should you hire Hands of Gold LLC.Desired Settlement: An agreed upon reimbursement of paid funds for the jobs performed. This will allow me to contract a secondary party to fix the numerous errors. I would of liked Hands of Gold LLC. to repair the poor work they have done, but I have lost complete faith and trust for the business and its owner. I have had the corrections and remaining work appraised. I will begin reimbursement negotiations at $850.00.
