I am writing to you in response to the complaint under ID #***, regarding *** *** who resides at *** *** *** * *** *** **Ms*** complained about the condition of her interior door, since then maintenance has went over and spoken to Ms*** and leveled off the doorAlso
the package situation was taken care of as wellLooks like UPS had scanned the packed as delivered with intentions of dropping it off at the leasing officeUpon arrival to the office he or she noticed the office was closedThe package was then delivered the following business dayThe resident has since picked up the package and has no further issues with the apartment

I’m sending you this information in response to the compliant that was filed by [redacted]. I’ve attached a copy of the final account statement and a copy of the resident’s ledger.  On page 4 of the attached ledger, you can see that the payment in question was posted to the ledger on 6/30/15...

in the amount of $1,836.00. At the time the payment was posted, the account balance on the ledger was a credit balance of $1,741.39. [redacted] thought the payment was only processed for $1,741, but that is not the case. The payment was processed for the full amount of $1,836.00, but there was a balance of $94.61 when the payment was posted, which left a credit balance of $1,741.39. (Highlighted in yellow in screen shot below)  I’ve also included a copy of the Final Account Statement which indicates there were three (3) charges for broken blinds at $15.00 each. Our service request history indicates that the resident requested to have the broken blinds replaced prior to vacating. There was no evidence or prior report that three  (3) sets of blinds were broken by maintenance, therefor the resident is responsible for the damages.   Please let me know if you need anything further to resolve this compliant.

I battled red ants virtually the entire time I stayed there, they had treated my apartment 3 times and they were still swarming my home. Then they moved what seemed to be a whole family into a one bedroom unit above mine, shortly after, my apartment became infested with bed bugs. I had to move into a hotel for almost a month out of my own pocket because they didn't offer to put me in another unit or anything. They just wanted me to stay there while their exterminators treated the apartment (three treatments spread out over a month an a half, which, only 2 were completed) and even after the treatments I was still seeing the bed bugs. When I told them I would be breaking my lease, they tried to tell me I would have to pay the early termination fee, after all that, they reported to the new apartment I was trying to move in to that I still had an unpaid balance, which caused my application to be rejected. Then sent me a $3 check as my deposit refund stating I owed for damages to my apartment. I am scarred for life, I have never lived with bed bugs, I'm still battling psychological issues behind it, feeling my skin crawl, jumping up in the middle of the night from nightmares not to mention all the money and possessions I lost behind this whole ordeal. I had to get rid of the majority of my furniture and from the cost of staying in the hotel, I'm basically starting at ground zero with no money to get back on my feet. Worst apartment experience of my life.
