I forgot to mention that we do have basic price on different jobs posted on the
glass door Everything else is based on specific price for a specific job
base on specific customers' need My salon is not in a business of buy
one and get one free unless there is a special discount going on
Everyone there has a job to do and to support their familiesThere is
not a "forget" to inform a customer on the pricing before they sat on
the chair to do the work Just like we all have to brush our teeth after
we get out of bed before going to work This lady wants a high quality
job done but don't want to pay for the efforts that the stylist put in and the
expense that the owner has to paid to keep the business going Just like
going to the mall, if the price is not to your liking then go somewhere that
fit your price

My name is [redacted] and I'm
the manager of T J Salon.  I'm writing in response to case #[redacted]. 
I had a chance to discuss this case with my employee in detail who did the
lady's hair. ...


First of all, there are
two sides to every story.  We quoted her $35 for the color of her (gray
hair) which she wanted done.  When she got to the salon, she also wanted
touch up highlight as well which is an additional job for $35.  My
employee informed her that this is two separate jobs before doing her
hair.  From what my employee was telling me, she chose to ignore it. 
She even said "what ever you do, make me look good."  This lady
has a history of bargain with the price every single [redacted]e that she has gone to
my salon.  I'm sorry to say this but my salon is not a flea market. 
We inform EVERY CUSTOMER before they seat down to get their hair done.  If
they disagree with the price, then can go somewhere else.  If we trick our
customers with the prices, my salon would have closed long long [redacted]e ago. 
We have been opened for 10 years.  This lady loves to chat with all of the
customers inside the salon and some of them show their displeasure after she left
because they wanted peace and quite.  She has hard [redacted]e seating down in
one place and has the tendency to move around inside the salon making some
feeling uncomfortable.  I'm in the business of serving people and once in
a blue moon you have one or two that no matter how good of a job that you've
done, you can't satisfy those people.
