Handyman Express

Review: Entered into contract on 12/24/2014 to finish my basement. It involved all labor and materials. Work that needed to be done included framing, dry wall installation, doors, electrical work, paint, ceiling, lighting, flooring. Payment was divided into $9000 at beginning, $3500 after drywall installation and $3500 at completion. I have paid the first $9000 and then another $3000 when I was told that the drywall was almost installed. The contractor has barely worked a total of 7 days at my property in total with long breaks in the middle. He has stopped responding for the last 2-3 weeks and no further work has been done in the last 6-8 weeks. I only have to pay him $4000 more but the work and material required far exceeds what I have paid him so far.Desired Settlement: I want the job finished immediately without any further delays or a detailed breakdown of materials used and labor calculation by a third party so I can be refunded appropriately.
