I am truly sorry that the paint did not adhere well.But if the customer would recollect, at the beginning of the project I volunteered to pick up the paint, mostly because I get a discount on my commercial account, but also to avoid this type of a situationIn which case, we could have avoided this
entire problemBut the client was the one that purchased the paint, and the subcontractor that did the labor was instructed to simply apply the paint that was provided by the homeowner.I am again sorry that the paint did not work well, but I was simply hired to perform labor, not to insure that the paint provided was of good quality or of proper ingredient

I am rejecting this response because:   I paid $2000 for the paint job.   I expected a professional job,  but I receive a amateur job.     The trim must have the latex paint removed, then repaint the trim with appropriate paint.   the paint job will have to be redone by someone who has expertise.

Here are the factsWe were hired to not only paint the trim, but the walls, and ceilings, and doors in the condo.We sent people back for additional time to fix areas that were messed up by the carpet layers - of which, we did not have to do.Also, it cost me an additional $700 to remove wallpaper that the owner assured me would already be removed when we started, and I didn't even bring it up.the first time I have lost money on a project in 17years of business due to the fact that the wallpaper was not removed.the paint was not provided or insured by us!We performed the duties were hired to do, and exceeded them.The trim part of the project was less the $250 dollars, nor $2000, and actually only charged $1850 for the entire paint project.The paint job was done right with the pain that was provided - fact.These are the facts. Sorry, that we are not used to performing duties beyond our original agreement.
