BAIT AND SWITCH
Great initial experienceWe called them up, scheduled them to come out and look at our water heaterWe had just bought the property and we're fixing it up to move into it shortlyThey told us our water heater was no goodThey gave a quote for $for it to be installedThey sent us a quote that clearly states the quote is good for days, the quote was dated May 10th We went ahead and scheduled with them to do the workWe made the appointment week later after the initial visit and the appointment was scheduled for May 24th We received a phone call just before they closed on the 23rd that would not honor their quote and that they were going to charge us an additional $citing a part cost had gone upTalk about bait and switchThey knew we are moving in June 1st and Memorial Day is right around the cornerGetting someone else out there in time was going to be impossibleI asked them to honor their quote or at least make a good faith effortThey refused and told us that is our problem and not theirs Rather than deal with a shifty company I cancelled the appointmentThis company is a small companyWe were going to use this company for the installation and later for our oilThey have lost our business and any chance of ever having it againI can only imagine if being told it's my problem after they pull a bait and switch what dealing with them would be like in any other situationBuyer bewareThere are plenty of other oil companies to choose fromDon't let these guys play games with you
