vehicle for this repair the left front strut bearing cap came apart allowing the strut to fall into the wheel well. She demanded our shop to replace this part. The other side was also broken but didn't fall into the wheel well at that time. This vehicle is in very poor condition with needed repairs. This is not our responsibility, I offered to fix this at a discounted price to satisfy her. Her husband wouldn't be able to fix this properly for $50.00 the parts are more than that. He wired this back together the last conversation I had with her. While I want to do the right thing and to keep good faith with any of our customers we are willing to fix this vehicle properly but we cannot fix it free as it wasn't our fault. I am rejecting this response because: They are flat out lying. I had a wheel lock key that was in the trunk of my car, which they didn't even bother looking in my trunk or they would have found it. If I didn't have a lock key, how would they have been able to take the locks off. My car is a Mercedes and no other car lock keys work. I let them know the key lock was in my trunk.
Yes, they where able to repair the flat tires for FREE because it is in their contract when you buy brand new tires from their company. My husband bought 4 brand new tires from their company which came with a "tire lifetime guarantee", this means they would fix flats or any other issue with the tires. This is why they fix it for free, they were not doing me any favors. And by the way even after they fixed the flat tires, one of them keeps leaking air, causing it to go flat every couple of days. And they kept one of the lock keys. There was a cet of two and only one was returned.
When I dropped of my car at their shop, there was nothing wrong with my car, and I was certainly able to drive to their shop. Just because my car is old doesn't mean that it is in bad condition. When they lifted the car to fix the tires, which in my opinion it was not even necessary to lift it up, but use a jack instead, they broke the left front strut bearing cap. The right side strut bearing cap is not broken or cracked, so they are lying about that too.
Yes Mr. [redacted] offered to repair what they broke for a fee, making it sound like they where doing me a favor by giving me a discount on something they broke. I have proof, and my husband was also able to put the part from the local auto store for $50.00. I have a receipt from [redacted], my husband was able to fix it with in an hour.
As for his comment "He wired this back together the last conversation I had with her." I don't even know what he means by this. After he denied any wrong doing and refused to fix it, I picked up my car and never spoke to him again, therefore he wouldn't have know my husband was going to, or had fixed my car.
I am extremely outraged by this response, the lies and deception of this company is outrages. No customer service, no kindness, manners are not in their policy. Worst company that I have come across and it comes not surprise their Business rating is a "D".
