Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

This in response to the reply from handyman pro [redacted] dated  February 9, 2017.First of all I would like to address his comments on the following issues. From the very beginning he accepted the job without reservations. He never mentioned once about the project being not feasible at the outset. That was only mentioned after he came out a second time to fix the panels that fell. He made no corrections, he only placed the lumber back in concrete again. From the beginning when the project first started he came out to do  the framing. The frames  were made to big to attach the lattice. He needed to buy additional lumber in order for the lattice to fit properly. After the framing was completed I ask him if he was going to allow 2 feet of lumber for inserting the frame in concrete. He said he would. However, he only allowed 1 foot instead of the 2 feet that we agreed upon, he said it would work fine. We  have photos showing the installation was not done correctly as he planned. Photos can be mailed at your request. As far as the free trips he made, we believe it was his responsibility as a licensed contractor to correct the problem. Furthermore, he was the one that said to call him if we had any complaints. He mentioned that I declined his proposal for the project to be completed properly. He was correct that I did but only after the THIRD try. His proposal to do the job right, he would have to rent an auger, buy cable wires and buy more concrete. This should have been addressed from the very start if he was that concerned to do the job properly. He said I wanted this done at no cost, as stated in his remarks. However, we did offer to pay for the above items. He never once mentioned charging additional fees for his labor due to mistakes that were made. After all that, he said it still may not work. I decided right then not to take this and further, as I did not want to invest any more money in this project. I feel my offer to him was also fair when I suggested to end the job and divide the cost in half as a compromise for both parties. He refused and said that the job was completed, which our pictures prove otherwise. Three additional hours will not correct these issues, it needs to be re done from the start. We are reluctant to have him finish this project. I do take it in consideration tat he lost three days of his time, but on the other hand we lost a lot of money not only  for his labor but  also our expenses for materials. With that said we still stay firm by our decision for a refund of $429.50

It was explained to this customer that it was not feasible for this project to be done at this location ;reason was because of high winds and deep roots. only cost the customer was charged was labor and even then was  given  a great discount ;with several free trips out to site .When customer was told once again how to properly fix the project customer declined the ideas set forth . Customer declined the invitation for the project to be completed properly  and continues to want things done at no cost to him ;When it was stated at the beginning of project that his way was not feasible. We are in hopes that the customer will let Handyman pros complete this project  properly to date we have vested 7 hours in labor cost to this  project but only have billed for 4 hours customer has received 3 hours labor at no cost . WE have been more then fare to this customer and have only asked for the cost of materials in order to correct the issue . 0n 01/25/2017 the customer made the decision not to have the problem corrected by Handyman pros . Handyman pros are still willing to correct the issue based on the condition the customer pays for all material and does so at the specs set forth by Handyman pros . Handyman pros will provide labor up to 3 hours at no cost to customer in order to correct flaws in project at hand   .    thank you [redacted]
