When I contacted them the first time, I was told I could exchange itWhen my son called and gave them the receipt number, they said they wouldn't exchange itThat's when I called again, only to be told that there was nothing wrong with the part, and they would not exchange itI was told I had to take it to a garage (of his choice) to have it looked at to see if it was faultyApparently, he is worried he will have to deal with a mechanic as dishonest as himWe have sent the head to MY mechanic, and it is seizedI did curse him, but only after being told that he had dealt with people like me before, and that I was trying to return a part that I didn't needI was simply trying to exchange it FOR THE SAME PARTWhat sense did his comment make? If his business states that they gladly exchange parts, he should do so without insulting his customers and refusing to do soI addressed other problems I've had recently trying to buy parts, being told that they had them, then driving miles one way, then being told that they actually didn't have the part, or in another instance, handing us a broken partLucky, there is a more reputable business across the road that went out of there way to help usMy son learned a very valuable lesson dealing with this junk yardI have explained to him that there is a reason why it's junkWe won't have any more dealings with this company, and I have been sure to tell all who listen about how they will be treated
