The Customer called our office and requested same day service. At the time of scheduling we gave her our rates which are a first hour visitation fee of $44.00 and $88.00 per hour. We scheduled her for September 2nd 2015. Our technician and service manager Don arrived at her home...

and waited 20 minutes for her to get to her home. She scheduled for a garbage disposal replacement, gas furnace cleaning, and ac checkup. Don completed all service and requested payment for the completed work. The Customer started complaining about the large bill and stated that she wanted a discount since she had a lot of work done. Don explained in depth every charge that was on her invoice and she understood and paid with credit card. The customer was charged the same rate that every other customer pays for service. We do mark up materials that we furnish to our customers just as every company does. We explained that her air conditioning unit was low on charge and required 1 pound of Freon (R22). We explained that we have a visitation fee (she knew about this fee when scheduling). She called the office after he left and requested a discount. Theresa explained that the invoice was correct. She kept complaining and was given a store credit of $44.00 which is the cost of the visitation fee to be used at a later date even though it was unwarranted. This could be used on service or products such as filters. She accepted that and the conversation ended. The customer called about a week later and Said that she wanted her money refunded back to her and would not require our services in the future. Cut a check for her and told her that it was at the office waiting for her to pick it up. That was the end of our conversation. The check dated 09/18/15 is still at the front desk at Handyside Inc.Thank you, Jennifer H.
