Review: Creative Windows installed new windows at my house that I paid for in November of 2012. I was told at the time of the sale that the new window install included the trim around my windows on the exterior. They did not replace the trim, but caulked approximately an inch of caulk in rotten out sections. After many months of complaining, they came in July of 2013 and installed a wrap around the windows that I had explicitly asked them not to install. They are again promising to come and rectify this and have not yet done it. I have emailed and called on multiple occasions. My sales rep called me in June to apologize and let me know that they would come back and fix the windows and would not install a wrap. They have stopped responding to my calls and emails regarding the matter.Desired Settlement: They need to remove the wrap they placed on my bay windows and replace the trim immediately around the four windows with new trim.

Review: The service was to totally replace the roof shingles around 4 years ago. The installer recommended installing a ridge vent per the shingle manufacturer recommendations. However, the roof already had two existing electric attic fans on two separate attic spaces. Recently, and upon consulting other companies to fix the attic fan that was malfunctioning, it came to our attention that a ridge vent should not be installed in conjunction with an attic fan, both systems working at the same time interrupt the natural air flow in the attic and significantly decrease proper ventilation, which is key to the survival of the roof shingles. The heat will not dissipate properly from the attic which results in higher electrical bills while running the air conditioning system for the house in the summer months. Also, due to the existence of both ventilation systems, the shingle manufacturer warranty would be void in case it is needed down the road. The installers should have either not installed a ridge vent or recommended removing and closing out the existing attic fans.Desired Settlement: We want to either furnish and install cap shingles over ridges so only the attic fans circulate the air in the attic, or remove both attic fans and install shingles/plywood to cover the fan area.
