I am rejecting this response because: The comments are not true. Yes, a refund was issued, but only because I filed a complaint with Revdex.com and BAR. Until I did so, the service Manager refused to do anything about it and was rude and hostile toward me. The person who brought the car in did not authorize the additional work or charges; they were not told of the additional charges; they were not given a written estimate; they were not given a copy of anything they were told to sign by the cashier after the service was performed (only a copy of the final invoice after the bill was paid); nothing was explained to them or authorized by them. The comment that the person who dropped off the car was not authorized to request additional work is a ruse to make it appear like someone asked for the additional work to be performed, which they did not. The general manager responding to this complaint was either lied to by his employee or is trying to place blame elsewhere when it was his employees who acted wrongfully. I told the general manager what really happened and he is still choosing to falsely report that the person who brought in the vehicle authorized this work; and he actually told me when he issued the refund that he intended to pursue the charges from my friend who brought in the car rather than accept responsibility.
