The patient purchased Custom Foot Orthotics. Paid the balance upon delivery. The insurance company paid the claim several weeks later. I then went into the computer to generate the refund and it was completed.

that I did not note upon entering the original refund. This additional balance was due to the patient because of a descrepency in the Insurance company fee schedule and our system. I attempted to refund the credit care but the patient had the original Credit card changed and the # was different. This is where all the delays started.
Patients credit card was refunded the amount due on 6/10/2014.
