This is an unfortunate situation We realize at times we are not able to meet customers expectations All stains do not come out, that is a fact in the cleaning business and we do not promise stain removal for that reasonWe did redo the customers clothes once at no charge After
that, there is simply no purpose in recleaning At that point we have made the professional judgement that the clothes could be damaged with further stain removal attempts We had cleaned the clothes twice for the customer with no additional chargeWhile we are sorry that the customer was disappointed, it must be remembered that our business did not stain the clothes and we did all we could to remove the stain without damaging the clothes Therefore, reimbursement for our service is appropriate The remainder of this customers encounter with our staff consisted of verbally haranguing two counter staff to the point of asking one (a Deans List honor student at UNM) if "she even understood english") The owner of the store (Carol S***) made the decision that the customer had crossed the line of reasonable discourse, that it would be best for all parties for the customer to seek services elsewhere in future and, so informed customer while returning clothes that she had dropped off for her companion While we are owner's, we are also employers and we owe it to our staff to ensure that they are treated with the same respect we treat our customers Such was not the case in this transaction.As an aside, the inference that somehow we would bring a large man and dog out to support a dispute with a customer is ludicrous The dog is a typical docile shop dog, who in fact many of our customers come to visit without bringing clothes in Our staff member simply came to the lobby to see what the commotion was and the dog followed him.We are indeed sorry that this situation escalated to this level, we try to accommodate our customers and manage their expectations to what is realistic However, once the situation devolved to abuse of our staff there was little choice on our part.Unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund for performing our services twice
