I ordered an item from HI Fi Sound Connection The item was shipped timely HOWEVER it was incorrect I gave the company an opporutnity to correct this mistake however they were unable / unwilling to do so in the time frame I had available I requested a return of the incorrect item and was issued a pre-paid shipping label At no time during the request did the representative bring up a restocking charge of 20% I could understand this if I changed my mind and just wanted a return, however the merchant shipped the wrong item The company issued a partial credit to my account, less the restocking charge I sent two emails to the company asking for this to be corrected - they were not returned I called into customer service and spoke with a front line rep I explained the situation and the return of the incorrect item He placed me on hold, came back and said "it is store policy to charge 20% restocking on all returns" I explained again that the wrong item was sent, he said that this was policy I asked to speak directly to the billing department and he said "they would not accept my call" I ended the conversation with the rephave filled a dispute both here and with my credit card company Is saddens me to see that Hi Fi connec tion has an A rating on this site when originally they had many complaints about returns and credits - it appears that any action on the companies part was simply to restore their rating It does not appear that anything has changed - I would not do business with this company again ***

I had a extremely negative service with this company. I realized the address listed in my order was not correct I immediately notified them of the issue both via email and phone and still they delivered it to the wrong place leaving me without the product I ordered and lost of funds. If you run into any issues I suggest that you immediate cancel your order and work with another company that knows how to handle business

This is a follow up of my review dated 7/15.2014...

The company has taken the steps necessary to correct the situation to my satisfaction. Once the issue was elevated to the necessary level the company respresentative was understanding, admitted to the error and assured me that steps were being put in place so that this would not happen again.

I purchase a fair amount of product via the internet and it is always a bit scary to hit the submit button on a company that you have not done business with before - in this case I would do business with them again based on how the issue was resolved.
