Hankster's Repair Recreational Service Reviews (7)

This e-mail is in regards to a letter that we received from the Revdex.com dated 12/15/2014 and in reference to [redacted]'s complaint, [redacted]. We spoke with [redacted] on 12/2/2014 in regards to his complaint and accepted that the snowmobile that he purchased was accidentally advertised...

improperly after further research. Mr. [redacted] and I agreed that we refund him $200.00 as that is what the difference was in regards to the difference of the blue book value based on the (2) year difference. We wrote Mr. [redacted] a check on 12/05/2014, Check# 4573, in the amount of the agreed $200.00. We also sent him a revised bill of sale so he could properly register his snowmobile with no issues.  If you have any further questions [redacted], please feel free to contact me at anytime. [redacted]Hankster's Motorsports###-###-####

When I spoke to [redacted] on the phone he was very rude told me he was not taking the snowmobile back said he would send me a check for $200 I think he should pay for all the repairs that he said the snowmobile had already had done to it.  this was a very very misleading add..not only is he rude but he lied about the year of the snowmobile and all the things that he had done to the snowmobile. I believe what I asked for in the beginning was just.

Hanksters is a terrible business. I bought my moped there and they were very nice at first then it got worse. About a 7 months after I bought it, I took it there for a free oil check and so they could look it over to make sure everything was working good. After a week I called to see if they finished the oil change and they didnt get it done in a week, it should take like 15 min. to do and oil change. They got it done the next day so I went to pick it up and they told me that I need the fuel gauge needle replaced because it was too flexible, and that they would call me in 2 weeks. So 2 weeks passed, then a month and still no phone call. So after winter I called them to get it replaced. It had been 6 months since they said that they would call me. So I took it down and they said it should be done in 2 days. So on the second day I called and they said they didnt touch it. They said it should be done the next day. So I call the next day, still not done. I called every day for another week. Finally they finished it after 1 week and 3 days, when it should have been done in 2 days. Which I understand that they could have been busy but every time I go down there every one is standing around. My advise to anyone who even thinks about going there just turn around. Go someplace else anywhere but Hanksters. There service is terrible. read less

Review: Purchased a 2006 Polaris grand touring sled. Was told that the sled was in great condition. We saw the ad that said not a better looking and running condition sled around. When we had purchased the sled, they were professional, and said that the sled had updates done as well as a new battery. When we wanted to go sledding for the first time, the sled started backfiring and had no power. The check engine light went on. We then had put in new sparkplugs, but then the sled did the same thing. We took it into fuel motorsports near our home, and they told us that the machine is not runnable in the condition that we had purchased. It will cost us $630 to fix. We could understand if had put miles on the sled, but we didn't even put on 1 mile. When I called Hanksters to complain they said they would check on it and get back to me, which they never did. We also did not receive our registration , which they are suppose to take care of. We would like the $630 paid to fuel motorsports, as well as our registration taken care of, or they can have the sled back, and refund us our money, including the price to have it fixed.Desired Settlement: We would like Hanksters to pay $630 to Fuel motorsports to repair the sled, and take care of the registration, or take the sled back, and refund us all the money for the sled, including the amount to have it fixed

Review: On 11/26/14 I bought a 2002 skidoo mxz 700 from hankster's when I got home with the mxz I ran the vin# and it came back as a 2000 mxz . I spoke with hank on 11/29/14 and he said he would call me back on Monday 12/01/14 ..no call back and will not return my phone call. I can not register this 2000 mxz and it's not what was advertised.

price paid is 2,200.00Desired Settlement: 1,200.00 cash back and proper registration paper work. Or the full 2,200.00 and he comes to get 2000 mxz up.

I never wrote a review before but I had to this time. Hankster's is the BEST SERVICE experience I have ever had since owning a motorcycle. Two days before a trip down south with my cycle I noticed that I had a low rear tire, after filling the tire with air I noticed that I picked up a nail from my last ride. I called Hankster's and they arranged a pick-up for my cycle that afternoon. The gave me multiple options as far as the repair went and were very reasonable regarding the cost. I felt that they really cared about my situation and I can't wait to do business with these guys again. Thank You so much!!!

Great staff and excellent, friendly service. Bought my first bike here, a Honda Shadow, and have continually been impressed by all the guys there. They're passionate about bikes and powersports, always happy to help, and really do a top-notch job! Thanks again for Everything!
