Hanmi Bank

I am filing this complaint on behalf of my parents who do not speak English My parents have a loan with Hanmi Bank with their primary residence as collateral Since the bank manager promised to reduce monthly payment if they pay down the principal, they got a loan at a lower interest rate from another bank (Shinhan Bank San Diego) to pay down the principal by 200,dollars The Hanmi bank San Diego Branch manager (*** ***) was aware of the source of the fund from the beginning; and the second bank manager is the witness to the whole situation However, after the principal got paid down, Hanmi bank is now saying that they will not reduce the monthly payment but just shorten the term of the loan In the end, my parents ended up with about dollars more in monthly payments since they now have to make payments to the second bank (Shinhan Bank) in addition to the monthly payment to Hanmi Bank at the non-reduced amountThis will restrict their cash flow more than before and

 Hanmi bank has resolved the issue that we were complaining about with our parents.  Everything is in good standing and we would like to drop the complaint.Thank you.  Regards,
