George *** and his crew did a wonderful job on a game room and bedroom remodel. Thank you for providing quality services with a very quick turnaround!

Hanna Homes did a complete remodel of our 1930's Historic Home before we moved in. Redoing the foundation, re-painting the interior, demo the kitchen, demo the bathroom, new quartz counter tops, new sinks, and new backslash. They completed the project within the agreed upon budget and with great marksmanship.

Thank you for being one of our valued customers! We appreciate your business.

Hanna Homes & Construction

George *** and the entire Hanna Homes crew did a fantastic job with our house. George and his crew worked with us, and the insurance company. The work was done with quality, on time, and as estimated. George was very pleasant to work with, and responded quickly to all of my questions. He even came back out a few times to fix a few minor issues that were not even part of the original job. Hanna Homes & Construction are extremely professional and guided us through each step. We highly recommend them!

The complaint being filed against Hanna Homes & Construction (business) is for deceptive trade practices in which the business falsely advertised services in order to solicit business and for embezzling money in which I (the client) pre-paid for services that were never delivered. The business never refunded the client's pre-paid funds and kept all of the client funds despite not fulfilling any of the services. The client is legally filing a small action claim against the business & personally against the owner for multiple infractions in which they are seeking compensatory and punitive damages.

This business provided false pretenses of what the company was and how it operates in order to solicit business. The project consisted of 3 smaller projects, renovation of the household, moving furniture, and HVAC replacement. The first project ? renovation of the household was to take only 2 weeks max with their employees working daily. In actuality, the business never had any full-time working employees on the project and in fact only engaged with other contractors to work on the project as a side initiative. This was never conveyed to the client. The project extended past 6 weeks in which the renovation still did not meet the client's standards and created multiple forgoing issues with the tenant moving in. In addition, the business was to replace the HVAC and repair a ceiling which was a separate cost of $9.5K, the business never provided any equipment or repairs, and disappeared with the pre-paid client money. Lastly, the business also lied about its moving services in which they offered to move my furniture professionally to Miami. Multiple high-end furniture pieces were damaged in the process and was clearly negligent in the move as well as did not have professional movers as agreed upon. I'm filing this report to Revdex.com as an official notice and record of the company's deceitful methods as well notifying the public that this business and personally the owner is in the process of being sued by the client.
Product_Or_Service: Renovation Services

Below is my reply, if it can be submitted via email.

Dear Sirs:
This responds to the complaint made by *** against Hanna Homes & Construction, Inc. Hanna is proud of its excellent customer service as demonstrated by the fact that it has no previous complaints filed with the Bureau. We are adamant in our contention that we provided similar excellent customer service to Mr. as we shall outline in this response. Mr. filed this complaint after we made numerous attempts to satisfy his requests.
On June 19, 2018, Hanna agreed with Mr. to perform three different projects. First, we agreed to renovate the premises at 2408 Victory Park Lane, Unit 1142. The charge for this project was $7,310 and Mr. advanced a down payment of $3,395 through a credit card charge. Hanna completed the construction work in July and a final invoice was sent to Mr. on August 1. Mr. only complaint regarding Hanna's work involved the installation of quarter molding. Hanna has agreed to correct this problem. Nevertheless, not only did Mr. refuse to pay the final invoice, he disputed the $3,395 credit card charge and it was credited back to his account because Hanna decided not to respond to the dispute.
Hanna also agreed to move Mr. furniture. Contrary to Mr. claim, the move was handled professionally with all furniture being wrapped to avoid damage. Upon completion of the move, Mr. complained about damages to his furniture. In response to Mr. complaint, Hanna paid Mr. $450 for damages he claimed were caused in the move. Hanna even offered to pay more if necessary for any repairs. Mr., however, has not requested any further compensation for repairs.
Finally, Hanna agreed to install an HVAC system in Mr. premises and Mr. again deposited funds in the amount of $9,225 through a credit card charge. However, when Hanna and Mr. began having disputes concerning the move and the renovation, Hanna offered to refund the entire amount to Mr. as he did not want Hanna performing the work. Ultimately, the entire amount was credited back to Mr. credit card account.
In summary, in an effort to satisfy Mr., Hanna has spent out of its own pocket $450 and Mr. has received back all of his credit card charges. As you can see from the foregoing, Mr. complaint is unfounded and, in fairness, Mr. should pay Hanna for the services it did perform for him.
Sincerely,
HANNA HOMES & CONSTRUCTION, INC.
