Before purchasing the car that night I noticed that 2 caps from rear and front bumper was missing so I told [redacted] about that and he told me that he talked to his boss and said to me not to worry about..."we are gonna send it with the tag in the mail" so I trust it this guy even though we were talking about the bad reviews that this dealer ship has and ending up signing the paper. The tag came but the caps not. I called [redacted] several time and he said that he talked to service department and everything is OK!. I waited another week and I called him again!...I heard from [redacted] same thing " Oh dont worry we will send it to you in the mail"...Waited another week so I called him again and I said [redacted] whats happening ?.. Purchased vehicle and has not received vehicle I recently purchased a 2013 Nissan Altima on December 24 2015 I was told the car needed brakes and to remove a dent that was on driver side of the door and my car would be ready by the following Monday at the latest. No one contacted me with information on whether the issue was being handled and my car was ready for pickup. I've been calling getting transferred from person to person no one can give me an explanation to when my vehicle will be done. I contacted manager of sales in which he informed me that my car would be ready for pickup January 4th no one called or contacted me on my vehicle. I personally made a visit to the lot on January 6th trying to give them time to contact me which didn't happen only for them to tell me it wasn't ready again and it's at an auto body shop still and the shop doesn't operate on there time frame. I'm very disappointed I tried to contact someone today in which no one called back yet. I purchased the car as a work/commuter vehicle and I have not had this car in my possession at all since I purchased.Desired SettlementI want my vehicle with all repairs completed by January 8thBusiness Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted] IMContact Phone: XXX-XXX-XXXXContact Email: [redacted]@hannaimports.comGreetings, Ms. [redacted] purchased a 2013 Nissan Altima that was not ready at the time. We had several other Altima's available, but she really desired this one in particular. Normally we would have a customer wait till the car is ready 100%, but she had dealt with other dealership previously and they sold the cars prior to her being able to get there, so she wanted to ensure this car was going to be available for her. We obliged and explained that if she wanted this one we would complete the process, but we would need time to take care of the items. We scheduled the car to be taken to the body shop and there was a delay in the car being finished due to the holidays. We certainly strive to communicate with every customer and apologize if there was a delay in the early stages after Christmas and between New Years. The body shop had the car and it was out of our control at that point in their timeline on completing. We are very sorry for the communication being stagnant, that was not our intensions. We have been in communication since; and as of Saturday, January 9th, she is now in possession of her car. We have agreed to do a full detail on the exterior to ensure the debris particles from the body shop are removed and her paint is looking the best possible. She now has the cell phone and direct line to [redacted] the Guest Relations Manager, who is now taking care of her and the vehicle. We do hope she is pleased now that she has her car and all has been taken care of as promised.

I purchased a BMW less than 1 year ago. It now needs gaskets, struts, wiper motor, tires, and a total bill of 4,500 to fix. They never disclosed these. Having bought a BMW from Hannah less than 1 year ago, I find out it is a lemon. It needs gasket repair, struts repaired, wiper motor, and the tires are dry rotted. This is just some of the issues from the car that I drove less than 3k miles. It will cost 4.500 to fix and the warranty that I paid over 1k to use will not cover any item listed. I not only bought a lemon, but will get no resolution from the dealership. In good faith, they should do something. They will not. Never buy a car from Hannah Imports.Desired SettlementBuy the car back, refund the warranty, or trade the car for like value. They sold a lemon plain and simple. Business Response /[redacted]/The customer purchased the vehicle 9 months ago, as-is from the dealer. All of the issues listed are wear and tear items. There is no way to verify that any of these conditions were pre-existing. We allow every customer to have a vehicle inspected by a mechanic of their choosing before purchasing. Had he come to us immediately with these concerns or issues, we would have done our best to help him out. The customer did purchase a 3rd party warranty, but per the warranty agreement, wearable items are not covered. Consumer Response /[redacted]/I was not given an opportunity to have the car inspected by a mechanic. Buyers beware when purchasing from Hannah Imports. They lied.Final Business Response /[redacted]/The customer initialed and signed our document stating that he did have the opportunity to have the vehicle inspected by the mechanic of his choice.

The representatives, including management, misrepresented the connection of a $32,000.00 vehicle that they tried to sell my. In my opinion they knowingly promoted this vehicle for sale in excellent condition and upon further independent inspection from myself and another car service facility declared the vehicle mechanically unsound and potentially dangerous to drive. Furthermore], during the test drive process I was reassured that my credit would not be ran until I was satisfied with the vehicle and we came to an agreeable sale price. They proceeded to run my credit report without my consent and I am furious about said actions. The operating practice of this car dealership should be reviewed and inspected as they will eventually sell someone a vehicle that not only will cause the consumer additional financial hardship, but ultimately lend itself to a mechanical failure and accident

For my birthday, we purchased a Chevy Equinox. Before we left the lot and signed any papers we asked to have the engine light diagnosed and was told that it was in "learning" mode and there wasn't anything they could do about it. That light went on to cause the vehicle to shut down in the middle of traffic and was also a "commonly known item" on these vehicles. We ended up trading that vehicle in within a month of its purchase and contacted Hanna to refund us the warranty and gap coverage. That was in October 2015. We have just today February 2016 received a check for a portion of the gap refund. So it took 4 months to get a refund they promise you back within 30 days. Getting Hanna to respond to our requests took an act of congress and several official complaints. The only reason the business returned our calls at all is because the internet manager took it upon herself to help us out after we left a complaint on their facebook page saying that if they didn't return our calls we would be calling a lawyer. It's probably not worth attempting to get them to pay the rest of the refund since it took 4 months to get to this point but I would never tell any of my friends or family to go to this dealership.

I purchased my vehicle from Hanna's in December. They are a preferred dealer with [redacted].On the day that I purchased the vehicle, I complained that the battery was low in one of the remotes for the vehicle and that the breaks are squeaking. The breaks are still squeaking today. I went back to the dealership to have the battery changed in the remote on 2/27/2016. While I was there, I asked them to see what was wrong with the hood because the passenger side of the hood would not latch. It was found after filling the wiper fluid. [redacted] took the vehicle to the service department and reported back that it needs a latch. He told me to call the service department that following week to set up a time to bring it in. I contacted the dealership every day during last week and left several messages. The service department doesn't have voicemail. I left 2 messages for [redacted]. I also was transferred to the parts department and the gentleman was kind enough to take down my telephone number and name and promised that he would give it to someone in the service department and have them to call me back that day. It is now a week later and no one has called me back. I know that this vehicle was involved in an accident prior to my purchase. This has to be related to that crash. The paint job on the front is very messy but I did not make a fuss about it. It also had dings on the drivers door, I did not make a fuss about that. The customer service at this dealership leaves much to be desired. I am very disappointed with them. This started on the day of purchase when I had to spend many hours waiting to finish the paperwork. I was there and was ignored for many hours. The CAN button on the steering wheel was also broken and will just fall off at any given moment.Desired SettlementI would like to take the vehicle to a facility of my choice for repair and Hanna Imports needs to reimburse me since they are not able to keep their word and perform the repair in a timely fashion. The hood moves due to the wind while I am driving and I do not want to cause any additional damage to the vehicle. I am now afraid to drive it. I would like for them to also have the CAN button repaired and cosmetically correct the exterior of the minor issues.Business Response Greetings, We have been in contact with Ms. [redacted] since this was filed. We have VOIP phone systems and experienced many internet failures this past week when she called. The calls were not picked up leading her to believe we were not going to take care of the concern, and we understand. [redacted] reached out to her and had a conversation along with our Service Director has followed up with getting her vehicle schedule in to change out the part. We apologize for the invonveinecne and lack of communication due to our internet being down and remodeling that is going on. We trust that Ms. [redacted] will be completely satisfied from this point forward. Consumer Response I wanted to wait until my service was completed before I responded to the response from Hanna Imports. I just wanted to make the Revdex.com aware that an apology was not provided to me from Hanna Import for their lack of communication with me. They blamed time warner for their lack of doing their job. I was told by [redacted] that next time, I need to try to resolve any issues directly with them. I did that for an entire week and did not hear from them. I was allowed to leave multiple messages and they were not returned. I did not hear from anyone until the complaint from Revdex.com was received. I would like to provide a sincere thank you to [redacted] from the Service department for contacting me once the part arrived and for being professional. I did not know what to do once I arrive to have my vehicle serviced because no one acknowledged me when I arrived at the service department so I went inside and asked for [redacted]. He greeted me in the showroom area and was professional from start to finish. He also checked my noisy brakes for me. They are not making as much noise now. The multiple complaints that I mentioned in my complaint was not addressed at all. I have purchased more than 6 vehicles in my life (3 new and 3 used)and this is at the top of the list for worst experience in purchasing a vehicle. I spent more time at that dealership when I went in to purchase this vehicle and I did not finance it through them. I have finance vehicles through the dealership and finished quicker than I did this day. The customer service at this dealership leaves much to be desired. [redacted] did a pretty good job with communicating with me and trying to get his portion of the sell completed. [redacted] will be doing an investigation on this dealership and possibly taking them off the list of preferred dealers. One thing that this dealership should know is that they need to make sure that they treat [redacted] customers appropriately because [redacted] is big on good customer service and customer input. I will not do any business with this company in the future. This was a very simple transaction. I am not a difficult customer and I was and still am not happy with my car purchasing experience. If the dealership knows that they messed up, try to make it right with the customer. Wash the car when the customer have to go back in to the dealership later. Make some type of kind gesture to try to compensate for the wrong that was done. Just a small gesture could make everything right. Some times, a simple apology will do. I hope that this business will try to learn from this input and provide better service in the future. Also, I know that you try to keep the cost down for the dealership but you should try to do some cosmetic repair to vehicles prior to selling them. [redacted] I wish this company much success. I hope that they will also see the areas that they can improve in. The ladies at the front desk seem to be pretty professional as well.

my 30 day tags expired, and they had me to sign another contract for more money. On feb.6th I bought a vehical from hanna imports and after 8 hrs there I was given a 30 day tag they said they would call me and I can pick up the permanant tag and registation. I signed a contract with them and I dont have money to take them to court. I have everything in this vehical that I do not possess. im walking to work 11 miles one way.Desired SettlementI need my tags and registration for the vehical Business Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted] BMContact Phone: XXXXXXXXXXContact Email: [redacted]@hannaimports.comGreetings,We have been in touch with Mr. [redacted] and he spoke to our General Sales Manager, [redacted] with regards to the details. We told him any cost or concerns to please forward the details and we would take care of it. The tags arrived 48 hours after he experienced this. There was a delay in the original contract with funding approval and that is why we had to change info to resign. This caused the tags to be processed late. We have not heard back from him, and have left a few messages to follow up and make sure everything was clear. At this point, we are of the understanding that the issue is resolved. Kind regards, [redacted]Business ManagerXXX-XXX-XXXX ext 111Consumer Response It has not been resolved. My lawyer is handling the case from here. It takes hours, not days to get tags from DMV. And financing didn't go thru because they made an error in the payments and that cost me more money. But for the seven days I was trying to contact them nobody could tell me the problem I just got ignored.Final Business Response We are showing and have documentation that your tags were sent to you via Fed Ex Tracking Number XXXXXXXXXXX on March 9, 2016. They are showing that is was delivered to your residence at March 11, 2016 at 12:46 pm. According to your original request with the Revdex.com, the desired resolution was " I need my tags and registration for the vehicle." That has been completed. By what we understand this has all been resolved. If you have other facts with regards to anything else owed or needed, please call us asap and speak to the Office Accounting Manager, [redacted] at XXX-XXX-XXXX. As of today, We have not been contacted by a lawyer. Kind regards, [redacted]Business Manager

Purchased a 2013 Audi from this dealership. Tires were overworn at time of service 5 months after purchase with only 37k miles. Dealer refused help.I purchased a 2013 Audi from Hanna Imports in July of 2015. Test drove and was told the car had all checks and maintenance as it was a lease. Was never offered to opportunity to have vehicle checked out prior to purchase but was lead to believe if I had any issues that it was still under factory warranty. When I took the vehicle to have its scheduled maintenance They showed me the inside shoulder of the tires (which would not have been seen clearly at time of purchase). They had worn to 2/3 depth and on the front drivers side it was down to a zero. The front two tires had large splits and I was told that they would blow out soon if they werent replaced. I called the dealership to see if they could do anything for me since that with a car that only had 37k miles should not have that advanced tire wear...especially with a 60k mile tire. When [redacted] returned my call I was told "I had every opportunity to have the vehicle checked" when in fact I didn't. He then compared my vehicle issue to being a pair of jeans that I found a hole in 5 months after purchase. I responded, "a 30,000 dollar vehicle should not be compared to a pair of pants". He just said that there was nothing that he could do for me even when I asked. As he said, the car was "as is". This may be true, but I was NOT offered a chance to have it inspected and was under the impression that it still had bumper to bumper warranty left on the vehicle. The reason for this complaint is a poor business matter. I was not offered any other solution than "sorry". It's quite offensive and now I'm questioning anything else that could be wrong with the vehicle that they have hidden.Desired SettlementI would appreciate a monetary settlement that would be fair and reflect replacement costs for a set of tires that are appropriate in mileage. My quoted cost was close to 1100 dollars for new tires. I would be pleased for 1/4 of that cost. I'm a fair person and am only asking for what would be left if a tire had the proper amount of tread left at time of purchase.Business Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted] IMContact Phone: XXX-XXX-XXXXContact Email: [redacted]@hannaimports.comGreetings Mr. [redacted],We have received your complaint and want to address your concerns. In purchasing this 2013 Audi you received the remainder of the Audi Factory Warranty. All manufactures cover their car, not the tires on the car. The warranty does not apply to tires even if you bought the car brand new from Audi. You purchased the car in July and we are now in December. We are not in any position to assist with tire reimbursement on any used car. If they pass NC State inspection at time of delivery, we have completed our due diligence. We do give everyone an opportunity to take it to a mechanic of choice to have the car looked over prior to buying it. This has always been our policy. If any customer ask to take it for a pre-purchase inspection, we accommodate their request to take the car off the lot so they may take it to a personal mechanic. With all of this being said, I have had a chance to look up your original file and it appears you went through [redacted] for finding our dealership. Because we are a preferred dealership with True Car and you bought the car here, you may be entitled to 20% reimbursement. According to [redacted] - If the customer has an auto repair come up within the first year of ownership, they may take it to the shop of their choosing and once they receive a bill, contact [redacted] and submit the bill. Once approved, the customer will receive 20% reimbursement of their repair bill with a max of $500, and they can use it twice a year. I tried to reach them today and the Account Manager was not in due to the holiday. I will continue to reach out to them tomorrow to see if I may help you obtain that reimbursement. Kind regards,[redacted]XXX-XXX-XXXX ext 111Internet ManagerHanna Imports More Info Received From The Business I have checked with [redacted] as well to see if they would be covered, and they see tires as a "maintenance issue" not soemthing they will cover either. Therefore nothing can be given towards reimbursement if he would like to get a new set of tires. AUTO REPAIR REIMBURSEMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONSNo benefit is payable for:10) Repairs or reimbursement for routine maintenance such as oil changes, fluid changes, tires, tire rotation, balancing or alignment.
