Review: On March 15, 2013 I picked my car up from Hanna's auto repair after having a rebuilt engine put into my 2004 dodge intrepid. The engine was 1,749.00 and I was given a 30 day warranty it is written on my receipt. I was told that if I had any problems to give [redacted] a call. About a week later I called in because something didn't seam right. He told me as long as my check engine light didn't come on it was fine. I was still concerned so about a week later I had my grandfather check all my fluids out due to the fact that the reason I needed my engine replaced was because I ran out of oil and locked my engine due to a bad leak. He checked my fluids and everything looked great. 3 days later on April 8, 2013 as I was driving into work my car started smoking so u pulled over and shut it off. The check engine light never came on I had it towed over to Hanna's to see what was wrong. I was told my head gasket went and that he was not covering it under warranty. First [redacted] told me that he would not cover it under warranty because I picked up my car on March 1 so my 30 days were up but I explained to him that the receipt was in my hand and it clearly states March 15. Next he told me that I blew the head gasket by running out of fluids. However I just had my fluids checked and they were fine. Then he told me that I had a brake in a hose and that my fluids ran out so me and my grandfather went out to look at the car and could not find a brake in a hose and when we asked to show us were it was he said he couldn't find one. He tried telling me that I should have known that the car was broken and got extremely rude and unprofessional. I am a single mother of a 1 year old. I just picked up my car on September 27 because he told me he was charging me 25 dollars a day for it to sit at his garage. I could not afford to get my car towed because I had spent my income tax check on the engine and since he did not honor his warranty on the faulty engine he put into my car it was wry difficult for me to work without having a car. After he told me of these charges my grandfather offered to rent a dolly to pick up my car. When I arrived at Hanna's to pick up my car I found it sitting on the street infront of his shop. Since the street is not his property he can not charge me for it sitting there. He tried saying he just moved it there last week however I took pictures of the dirt and debris build up around my tires and the battery was completely dead it could not even be jumped. His employee even told me that my car has been sitting there the entire time. When the car was towed there [redacted] offered to put a sealant on the head gasket but said it might not work however my car was in the same spot it was that day.Desired Settlement: I would like a cash refund of the money I spent on buying the engine 1749.00 and having it installed so that I can have it fixed and avoid taking this issue to court. If I do not receive the entire refund I will take this matter to court.

Review: I called Hanna Auto Works in May to buy a black side view mirror for my car that they listed online at www.car-parts.com as having in stock. He told me that he did have it, but I would have to come into their shop and pay for it, then he would pull it from the car and give it to me.

I arrived there, paid, and then he told me that I would have to come back again in another 2 hours to pick it up, even though on the phone he said he would have someone remove it right away once I paid (this part takes about 3 minutes to remove from a car). I was pretty annoyed because their shop is 45 minutes from my house, but I had no choice, so I killed time at some nearby stores for 2 hours and then came back to get the part.

When I returned, he said that they didn't have that part in stock, but he ordered a new one and I could come by 2 days later to get it, but it would be unpainted. I told him that the reason I was buying this used part from him was because it was supposed to be already painted and I didnt want a new unpainted one. He told me he would void the transaction and not charge my credit card.

A few weeks later I get my credit card statement and big suprise- there is the charge for the mirrors. I called his shop 3 times, left messages with whoever answered the phone, and no one ever called me back, so I filed a dispute with the credit card company. He never bothered to call me back, but he did find time to respond to the credit card company and tell them that I picked up the part and that all sales are final.Desired Settlement: I would like my credit card refunded in full for the $106 they charged for products that I did not receive.

Review: I have a 2000 [redacted] with a damaged front. I sought an replacement seat leather, w/no heat and w/no lumbar front drivers side. Hanna's auto and recycling at [redacted] Pa [redacted] Said they have my replacement. The price was $150 plus tax, the seat was in good condition and the purchase was made . I took the seat to my mechanic who looked it over and said the seat did not come from a [redacted] but from a different model [redacted] since the controls and the wiring harness is different , and furthermore it is Physically different and it does not match the other seats . I searched the internet and found the exact same seat in a 2000 [redacted] Limited. I brought this to the Attention Of Hanna's Personnel and they admitted that seat did come from a [redacted], but they said they will not refund my money because the seats are interchangeable. My mechanic says no way. I believe I should have a [redacted] seat or a refund.[redacted]Desired Settlement: An authentic [redacted] replacement seat or a refund
