Hannoush Jewelers - Buckalnd Hills

Review: [redacted] jewelers was commissioned to build a custom wedding band for an one-of-a-kind antique (c. 1900) engagement ring. The engagement ring was dropped off with the understanding that I would pick it up in 1 week and then the custom ring would be ready a few weeks after that point.After not hearing from Hannoush Jewelers for 2 weeks, I went into their store. The original salesman I spoke with was not available, but I asked another who was present if I could pick up the engagement ring. He said they did not have that, and offered for me to pay for the band I had purchased, which had come in some 10 days prior. I asked them to hold on to the band and I would pay for all of them when the order was complete.The next morning I received a call from the salesman who we had worked with in their store. He informed me that the engagement ring was missing, but that they had finished the custom band for my fiancee. I met with the salesman on three separate occasions since then looking for answers. He has always been apologetic and offering to help, but we just want the antique engagement ring back at this point. They claim to have been looking for it in their Enfield store, however, I cannot imagine how something like that can get lost for an established business who keeps items on their premises.

The ring was purchased for approximately 2x the amount they listed on the receipt they gave me. I would like the amount I originally paid for the ring reimbursed immediately plus the items the original purchase order was for (custom wedding band for the wife and a wedding band for myself) given at cost. If the original ring is found, I will gladly return the amount of their reimbursement in exchange for the original ring.
