Review: On August **, 2014, I visited the Hannoush Jewelers store in the [redacted] in [redacted], to have my husband's wedding ring resized. While I was there, I asked them to look at my 20-year old engagement ring because the prongs felt like they were bent. Upon inspection, the salesman showed us that the setting was cracked and the prongs were bent/broken. We got an estimate for them to replace the ring/settings and reset the stones and authorized the work.

I picked up the ring in September. In April 2015, I happened to look down at my ring and the entire center setting, prongs, diamond, and all, was gone. All that remained in the center setting was the prong that the setting should have been soldered to and no residual solder was evident at the break. We brought the ring back to the store where the store manager inspected the ring and told us it was a manufacturing flaw and that Hannoush would replace the setting/stone.

On May **, my husband received a call from the store manager informing us that the [redacted] brothers had determined that the loss of the setting was my fault because I "hit something" and refused to replace the lost setting and stone. I am sure that if I had hit my hand hard enough to break a properly soldered gold ring that I would have remembered it happening and such an impact would have damaged the two side settings as well.Desired Settlement: To have them fix their shoddy workmanship.
