Th whom it may concern,Mr. [redacted] brought his Television to be repaired.  White waiting for the parts to arrive, he found another television in my shop that he was interested in purchasing because it brand new and had a large screen.It took Mr. [redacted] about five days that three...

separate visits to do his own research before selecting  that television as the one he wanted to purchase. The television was [redacted] was manufactured in 2013 and sold to Mr. [redacted] in 2015.  The television was brand new in the box with all of the manufacturers parts and accessories.Because it took Mr. [redacted] so long to make that decision, I offered him a two year guarantee for any repairs.  Upon delivering the TV to his house and setting it up for Mr [redacted], I found out that he didn't have a urge protector, so I strongly advised him to purchase one; noting that a surge protector is not an item that I see, but it greatly contributes to the proper function of a television.A year and a half later, Mr. [redacted] reported to me the television stopped working.  After the diagnosis I found out that the same power supply issued for his old television, was the same power supply he reconnected to the new television.  I then asked Mr. [redacted] why he did not purchase the surge protector like I strongly recommended and he said, "this time I will."Because I gave him a two year guarantee for repairs, I ordered the power supply board, however, Mr. Cortwell was rushing the repairs since t here was no TV in the living room.  He stated that he could not wait for the parts to be delivered so he took the television to another repairs hop in Springfield, VA.  Three days later, he came back and told me that they couldn't get he power supply so he was going to purchase a new television.I gave an extended warranty on my televisions because I am the only technician working on the device and I can back my own work.  I cannot be held liable for any repairs made by another shop and then brought back to me, to diagnose.To conclude, Mr. [redacted] still has a two year guarantee for repairs, so I invite him to being in the television to take advantage of that warranty.  However, the non-use of the television is due to his own mismanagement of the device, as I strongly advised him to buy the surge protector, and he did not heed my professional advice.Thank you,Hans Adu G[redacted]

Review: Hans came out to my home to repair Video Board on [redacted] Television on July 19, 2013 ; service order # [redacted]. The TV worked great upon reviewing his work. We had to pay the sum of $264.00 in cash. We were given a 30 day warranty on parts and services. On the morning of July 20, 2013 (less than a full day) the TV was back to acting improper which prompted the initial call to Mr. Hans previous. We immediately called Mr. Hans and informed him of he issue. He told us that he would call [redacted] and get back to us. It is now September, we've called his cell ( which is too full to receive any additional messages), and his business. We have not hear from Mr. Hans, we are very disappointed with this company and lack of professionalism. Would not recommend this company at all!!! We are considering filing to get our fund returned.Desired Settlement: Refund-Cash
