First off, I advised custemer I would provide the kemicals and knowledge to clear up pool.she had lots of debrief poolNo kems and about tapols that where almost frogs, I said the kems would take care of them but her husband needed to get the debrief off the bottom with her pole and net.I made three trips, fixed a broken chlorine line that was leaking in equipment room.she didn't follow tru on her part and just kept throwing shock into pool.I did not agree to a quoted maint ace price, it was pd service calls as we went.wance she said no more $ , come do it for free or else I stopped talking with her.I am bonded licensed and have ins I have lot of people that need my service and are willing to pay.I have talked to other pool people that have had bad exserance with her and didn't get paid for work they did

I am rejecting this response because: His response is completely a lie! Our agreement was to get the pool ready to swim and the price quoted was for thatHe said he would come with his equipment and clean the bottom of the pool floor, this never took placeHe said someone was borrowing his equipment and he would come back another timeHe also tried to sell us a used pool heater for $1,plus $to install it and his CCB#he has on his business card he provided us is expired! If you say your licensed and insured, provide proofFurther more, never was there mention of no money to pay for anything, he collected money upfront and never finished the job, he stopped reapondimg to all communication once we said we will pass on the heater for the pool he was trying to sell us

Thank you for spending so much time bad mouthing anyone that try's to help you out.good luck finding anyone willing to drive out to your house after they see what a whinner you are.your unwilling ness to do as directed or pay for years of knowledge is uncreable.not to mention the parts, work done, and tollarance of your abuse.

I am rejecting this response because:We were on vacation and were not able to respond. The CCB# and business card provided to us on June 26th, 2017 with CCB#[redacted] expired on 6/10/2017. The new CCB#[redacted] went info effect 7/26/2017, Mr. [redacted] did not have a valid CCB# but continued to work. Mr. [redacted] did advise that we needed to sweep the bottom of the pool and pick up as much as we could, we did do this step as he advised. 3rd trip was on July 2nd,2017 Sunday morning, Mr. [redacted] showed up without any notice and handed me a bottle of floc, I was puzzled as I was not sure what needed to be done so I asked if he could show me, he didn't seem pleased I asked. He put the entire bottle of the flock into the pool and said to turn off the pump in 2 hours, we followe his instructions. He said everything will fall down to the bottom of the pool and he will come back wtih his equipment and clean the bottom of the pool of the floc to waste. The next day July 3rd, I sent a text msg to Mr. [redacted] letting him know the "water is a little better but still cloudy and can't see down to the bottom" he responded "Call me in the am". On July 4th I called as he asked and let him know what the pool looked like, and that clumped were floating on top of the pool and my understanding was it should drop to the bottom. He said lets give it another day and to call him tomorrow. I wished him a happy 4th and said I will talk to him tomorrow. July 5th came around I called with no response. I tried calling him again on July 6th with no response. I sent him a text msg later that day "Hey [redacted], water has not cleared, we are not day 5 after the floc. Been trying to reach you via phone and text with no response. Please call me back. Thanks". a few days past and still no response. I called again and left a voice msg asking he please give me a call back, if we don't hear from him we will do what we need to do on our end. We "should" have known that Mr. [redacted] was a crock from the start, giving us a business card with an invalid CCB, pushing to sell us a used pool heater and doing the install himself (with an inactive CCB#), saying we needed to put down a deposit (we would have been out of $1200, glad we didn't fall for that), collecting money upfront for services he has not started, just said he would, not having any supplies with him and counting those as "trips" when he brings the supplies. By the way, the 2nd trip was the very same day he first came to our house on June 26th, which he said he would be back my 1pm, 3pm rolled around and he didn't show so I called him and he responded "did you think I wasn't going to show?"  I guess if Mr. [redacted] had a reputable business he would show up at the time given or at least call to say they are running later, but to answer with a response like that shows he's not an honest person. Never was there any conversation about demanding he do anything for free, I even asked how much the floc was, he said it was included in the price he quotes me to get our pool in swimming condition. The fact that Mr. [redacted] feels threatened is because he recieved a letter from our attorney, which goes to show his guilt in this whole situation. To let it get to a point where we need to take legal action for something that could have been resolved if he only responded to our calls/text msg and completed the work he promised, will cost both us and him more that we probably want to spend as we all know how much lawyers charge. Mr. [redacted] still has time to make things right in this situation where we can all come to an agreement without further legal action, its up to Mr. [redacted].
