To Whom It May Concern,This letter is in response to the email received from the Revdex.com regarding the dispute with [redacted] Baxter. Below please find the details of the job that was completed for [redacted] Baxter on Saturday, March [redacted].I was contacted by [redacted] regarding hiring...

CCS Moving to deliver dog cages to [redacted] in Newark, New Jersey through [redacted]. When my men arrived at the pickup location, there were more items than previously stated in his request. I spoke with the customer ([redacted]) and informed him that since there were multiple cages, we would not be able to complete the work unless the cages were disassembled. He agreed and then said he would have someone disassemble the cages prior to our return. When we returned on Saturday, March [redacted], the cages had been disassembled and CCS Moving shrink-wrapped all the items, placed them on two pallets that had been connected together as requested by [redacted] and delivered them to [redacted] in New Jersey. I also sent Philip a picture of the pallets with no acknowledgement from him and there was no indication of any problems until a few days later when our Thumbtack account was placed on hold. When I first contacted Thumbtack customer service, the representative told me that customer informed them that CCS Moving did not respond to the customer’s email, however we had not received any correspondence from the customer regarding any issues/problems at that time. We provided a letter to Thumbtack explaining the details of the delivery. The customer however seemed to be dissatisfied with the response but CCS Moving did everything [redacted] requested including connecting the two pallets together so that the cages would fit and shrink-wrapping them to ensure their safety. Once delivered to [redacted], the person who received the item marked the bill of lading with the words received 1 skid. [redacted] stated that when he received the pallets they were in two pieces. Any damage obviously resulted after we had left the site. Additionally, after we received word from Thumbtack regarding the issue, we attempted to contact [redacted] several times via phone and email with no response. It seems that the customer has not had any contact with the carrier [redacted] who shipped the cages/pallet and he continues to hold CCS accountable. CCS Moving did everything correctly to ensure the safety of the items and everything was carried out as per [redacted]’s instructions. We also spoke with Thumbtack and explained the situation and they closed the case based on the fact that there is a 3rd party carrier involved. [redacted] is also part of this dispute since they had the responsibility for the delivery of the cages from New Jersey (where we dropped them off) to [redacted] final destination of Tennessee.  When CCS Moving delivered the cages to Conway there was no indication of any damage from the representatives who signed off on the delivery. I’m sure had there been any type of damage when the cages were delivered we would have been informed at that point in time and Philip states is that he received the pallets on top of each other, meanwhile as noted before our confirmation is marked with the words: 1 skid. Obviously this is a result of something in the transit from the Conway warehouse to Tennessee. If the pallets had been on top of one another that would not be 1 skid. Finally, CCS Moving always takes every measure to ensure everything is delivered exactly as requested in every job we do.  In [redacted] complaint he states that we backed out of the first part of the agreement but there had been no agreement made for CCS to dissemble the cages.  It is unsettling that [redacted] would not respond to any calls or correspondence by CCS. There is a huge grey area here since another freight/shipping company is involved in this as well. We should not be held liable and any claims should be filed with Conway’s insurance company. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at: ###-###-####.Thank you and I look forward to your response.Sincerely, Ibra S[redacted]PrincipalCCS Moving

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Like I stated in my complaint. [redacted] cannot be held accountable for the poor workmanship of CCS Moving. IF and I say again IF the items had been packaged and SECURED to the pallets even though the pallets were not put together as they should have been the pieces would not have been damaged. The items were only shrink wrapped together as one they were not in any way secured to the pallets. They were basically sitting on the pallets and allowed to move freely. Due to them not being secured to the pallets and being allowed to move freely they came off of the pallet and were damaged.
See the attached pic as to the way they were just sitting on the pallet and not secured

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
