RE: Complaint Number To Whom It May Concern: Ms[redacted] bought the Volkswagen Toureg from us on August 2, at 12:PM At the time of the sale we agreed to sell the car at a greatly reduced price which was $5,(totaled out to be $6, with tax and state fees) from our asking price (original price $8,990.00) At this price we told her we are selling the car with all faults and no expressed nor implied warranty and she agreed with it When we were doing the paperwork we emphasized that we are selling the car no expressed nor implied warranty To make it clear to Ms [redacted] we put an additional disclaimer on the purchase contract stating, “VEHICLE IS SOLD AS ISNO EXPRESSED NOR IMPLIED WARRANTY CUSTOMER KNOWS ALL THE FAULTS AND IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL REPAIRS.” And at the time of delivery the “check engine” light was not on After she got her car through emissions she came back and wanted us to diagnose the car In these kinds of situations we are willing to work with our customers The service department was going to charge her $to look at her vehicle; however, Alex had the diagnostic fee waived Since she bought the car AS-IS, we offered her to fix her vehicle at a greatly reduced price When she started calling employees expletives we discontinued communication with her Again, we are more than willing to work with our customers but, when they show disrespect to us we will discontinue communication as it will be a conflict of interest In summary, Ms [redacted] negotiated an excellent deal knowing that she bought the car AS-IS She was given the opportunity to get her car fixed at a greatly reduced price Sincerely, Timothy [redacted] Owner

Dear Ms. [redacted]: We just recently received a letter from your organization (Revdex.com) as you know there are two sides to every story.  Ms. [redacted] did in fact purchase a car from Hansen Brothers three years ago.  On April 7, 2016, Ms. [redacted] brought her car in for what she...

perceived as oil leaks.  Hansen Brothers Service replaced the oil filter profile gasket invoice number 1001973. Per that repair record, the customer was informed that there were other leaks.  The other main leak was from the valve gasket and other leaks seemed apparent. Customer declined to do further diagnostics and repair work.  In summary, Ms. [redacted] was clearly aware that there were numerous leaks and only chose to repair one part.  On April 11, 2016 the vehicle was towed back and required a starter to be installed. Hansen Brothers performed work that was authorized to go forward with.  Unfortunately, we do not have the ability to determine when an electrical component will fail.  Could it be due to the oil leaking on the starter, possibly?  That being said, I fail to see how an electronic component failing is Hansen Brothers-Service responsibility.  In closing, Hansen Brothers-Service Department only performed work that was pre-authorized by Ms. [redacted].  The client declined other leaks that were clearly present. Sincerely,   [redacted]
