AVOID. They failed to set up automatic payments after I arranged those payments with Midwest via a phone call. Dupont Community Credit Union sold my loan to this company. Immediately I called Midwest customer service and arranged automatic payments to be drawn from my local bank. The first payment due was NOT made (not drawn by Midwest.) When I checked (now one day before due date!) a different representative reported that there was no payment scheduled. She also found a note in the file that I had called about two months earlier to set up those payments. But the person I spoke with earlier failed to follow through and arrange the payments. (The rep I spoke with who straightened this out was quite helpful. But their records must be odd as it took her several times looking through my account to find a record of the original phone call.)

Expect a lot of calls and mail if you fall behind Also expect no help Removing

Echoing everything that was stated in the previous reviews This company will nickel and dime you and wait to apply payments rather than behaving in a manner that would be expected from a professional/ethical organization I am considering a refinance at a slightly higher interest rate JUST TO GET AWAY from this company

This company is hired by credit unions/banks to manage their loans and then they nickel and dime the customer I mailed in two partial payments a month and they sent them back They said they wouldn't accept my payment unless I set up a special payment plan which costs $to set up and $a debit I told them that I didn't want to do this and just mail the payments Nopethis does not allow them to charge extra fees I called my credit union and am still waiting on a response from them to not let them service my loan From my experience, if your bank says they use this companyget your loan elsewhere On top of that, when they screwed up my payment last monththey charged me a $fee to fix it And then when they call you to tell you that you are getting a late payment noticethey are exceedingly rude! Even though they are the ones who screwed up!

Absolutely the WORST mortgage company ever If I could give them ZERO stars I would My experience started with a $escrow shortage that I new nothing aboutI never received any notice of this measly $shortage So I sent in my monthly payment, just like I do every month....ON TIME I've never been late on a single payment, I think that should be noted Only to find out from a phone call from their uncustomer service that my payment has been returned due to their "partial payment policy" To make matters one million times worse.....that rejected payment was not sent back to ME the customer.......but to the internet banking provider that my Illinois credit union uses in South Dakota After two solid of weeks of trying to track down my returned money I was informed that the internet banking provider would credit my account within business days So instead of keeping my mortgage payment and calling me to say "hey, sorry you owe $more dollar", they caused a world of hurt I spend at least hours trying to track down my money, which I still don't have Their "policy" is the worst in the industry and trust me I know since I too am in the Banking Industry NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY Especially if you are a bank or credit union looking for a mortgage servicer
YOU'RE CUSTOMERS WILL BE SORRY, especially if they end up with a $escrow shortage that they could not control

The very same experience happens consistently with us as wellThe previous reviewer mentioned payments NOT being applied to the account in a timely mannerWe have always paid our mortgage early or on timeWe take great care, only to have Midwest Mortgage Services lackadaisically post the payments on the 2nd or 3rd of the monthWhen we even paid in our credit union branch on the 30th or 31st (week-days), they said the "post date" at Midwest Loan would be "effective" and posted as of the date we paidBut not soThat never happenedI called and Midwest blamed the credit union branch where I paidThen the c/u branch countered with the fact that Midwest is NOT using the date of payment as their post date to our mortgageI know it's not "officially" delinquent but it's causing us worry and frustration to the point of considering not using our credit union for business anymore since nothing seems to be done about itI did pay online with the link from the credit union website to Midwest Loan Service, and THAT payment posted on the day I paid, correctly that time
