We attempted to respond to this complaint on several occasions but your site was having technical difficulties and we were unable to access the complaint to respond. Ms *** contacted Hanson Fuel on 5/22/and advised our office that she was moving effective 5/26/17. At that time,
the customer service representative inquired if the new owners were going to be keeping the propane tank, if so we would have a sales representative contatct them to complete paperwork to become a customer. She was also advised that we could provide a fuel value letter to her for the closing, wherein the buyers would reimburse her for the propane remaining in the tank if that was agreed upon between both parties. We only provide the letter stating the value of the fuel remaining. This is what I believe Ms *** misunderstood. On 5/24/17, Ms *** again contacted Hanson Fuel and requested the propane tank be removed from the property. There is no refund of propane remaining in the tank at the time of removal. This was explained to Ms *** by several customer service representatives but she has insisited she was told she would be given a refund. That is not our policy, never has been our policy, and no one in this office would have told her that
