DATED:8/17/ Allison B [redacted] In regards to [redacted] & [redacted] I am writing in response to a Revdex.com dispute I have received from client [redacted] & [redacted] Upon meeting with [redacted] & [redacted] they told me their budget was 12k ( Maybe more because parents want to help as well) They are now dropping their budget to 7k after I have already almost planned and coordinated entire wedding I’m not sure how they can even afford to hire a coordinator at that priceI informed them if the budget was any lower I would not be able to work with their price This couple also verbally told me over a phone call they wouldn’t need my services, then went back on it-and said they would think about it, and that when I decided to cancel given the facts that you will see at the bottom of this message My price alone was (WAS 5000-BUT SOME HOW SHE KEPT TRYING TO GET ME TO REDUCE PRICE TO 3000K) The price conniving has been going on since the start of my booking VENUE Early on, they also decided to book the [redacted] cruise line for their wedding I informed them that that would potentially make the budget go up a bit They informed me that they were fine with that, they just loved that venue Venue cost [redacted] & [redacted] asked that I referred vendors that best fit their budget So I did just that They have been consistently accusing me of referring my “friend” vendors, or pushing vendors onto them All the vendors that I work with are very professional & legit None are my personal friends Im not sure what they think I may be benefiting from these vendors except the simple fact that I am trying to please the couple This couple has been very difficult to work with almost the entire time [redacted] cruise line even told me they didn’t want to work with this couple because they could tell how difficult the bride was He told me he would do me a favor and let us hire a outside licensed caterer because he didn’t want his caterers working with this difficult bride during the busy wedding season Also, bride was upset because the boat didn’t carry a sweet sweet white wine So he just threw his hands up and said bring in your own wine as well..however boat will charge a dollar corkage fee OFFICATE There was special situation with the officiate on boat This took countless hours of trying to get handled, and figured out [redacted] is currently married still to his ex-and the divorce isn’t final So couple asked me to ask boat if they would still do the wedding – and waiting to sign license at a later date if [redacted] divorce wasn’t final yet They agreed to doing that, but that took a lot of work to figure out that (Hired either way) PHOTOGRAPHER I referred a photography to them They loved her pictures on her website, and did a photoshoot with her The pictures turned out fabulous!! She spent days working on all the editing, in which she only charged them dollars extra to do so because couple asked that she did extra editingThen they said they didn’t like her pictures because some of the pictures only showed the half of face They only seen a sneak peek of about pictures on her FacebookThey haven’t even seen the entire disk of almost photos before they passed judgement My photographer was giving them an amazing deal to help me out of only 1000k for all day photographyAlso my photographer did a hour engagement session with them on Aug 6th & walked the entire downtown Seattle with them just to please them She could have charge more Given the fact that the engagement session was only supposed to be hour (like all engagement sessions) I am really unsure what the exact reason was for them not liking [redacted] work-but I feel it may be a personal problem or race issue? This couple then turned around and went behind my back-and scheduled and met with another photographer-who gave them a deal of 1,500k for only hours of pictures on the wedding day-and no editingSo they were willing to pay more for less photos/hours/editing for a different photographer Again, they have hired a more expensive vendors (budget is going up) CATERER After boat allowing us hire a outside caterer which is no typically aloud-I started to do caterer research Upon meeting with couple they told me their guest count was Plus vendors so total So, when I was doing research that is what I was getting estimates for The most inexpensive quote I had found was for 4000, and that included all linens, flatware, plates, napkins, servers, food, ect, and a free dessert bar For guests Then couple went behind my back, and found a different caterer They told me they found a caterer that will only charge them I told them that was a great price, and asked who the caterer was I called caterer, and they told me yes only but only for guests, and didn’t include cake So now the clients guests count has change without informing me Of course guests less would be less price!! So after speaking with their new caterer, this caterer also informed me how difficult it has been working with [redacted] & [redacted] over the past week (in which I never knew they were doing this) [redacted] with [redacted] said that she is consistently trying to get him to bring is price down or do things for freeHe said that his experience thus far made him worry about doing business with her I just spoke with him again today-and he said that she called him and was bashing my business to him, and also made because I uped the guest count by people which increased cost a bit All vendors require a meal on boardShe was going to only feed guest, and not vendors she brought in He mentioned that is always trying to get things for free, and now wants specialty linens for her weddingHe mentioned this isn’t something they do-and I told [redacted] someone who I refer (not to worry-she isn’t my friend, just a vendor) BEAUTY SERVICE I have putt countless research hours into thisBecause all makeup & hair artist are busy on weekends with weddingsShe insisted that she had her trail run done on the same day as her engagement session That was almost impossible-but I finally found a girl to do it [redacted] also tried to get her to drop price while she was getting her hair done [redacted] told her NO price was firm CAKE I have a cake tasting all set for them already on Aug 20th - and have been working on tasting appts for them until they decided (over a phone call they weren’t sure they wanted to work with me anymore) Client has made payments I have done almost full planning already-the only items that have not been completed was Day of CoordinationIn which I only charge So I feel if anything she has underpaid me I have been trying to hire all of her vendors, but she is consistently going behind my back and looking for a less expensive vendor-then blames me for not finding a cheaper vendor This bride has been the most difficult bride I have ever dealt with Also-I am a little worried about my safety working with this couple, as [redacted] seems to get very very upset He met with Photographer to get disc, and she was very concerned about his behavior CONTRACT I have decided to cancel my remaining services with this client for mains reasons (you will find this with a arrow in my contract) Also in my contract you will find a check mark next to everything I have already done for them 1.Date change This couple signed the contract stating the wedding date was Nov 12th, then after contract was already signed and gave to meThey then decided to change to Nov 5th because they found out day light savings was going to affect how much light they would get on the 12th I am already booked on the 5th 2.Budget change The budget change does not allow me to even stay within that budget Its inmpossible Venue cost Planner Photographer Caterer + linens DJ Approx Cake Approx Invites Approx Flowers Approx 500- Rings..dress..ect The list goes on-but as you can see they have already hit their budget for the first 3-vendors This couple have unrealistic ideas, and planning This couple also wanted to have a after party at a hotel after the boat wedding-which would have cost an additional 3k Not sure why they kept reducing budget when this after party is something they insisted on??

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
When we initially met Allison we never set our budget at 12k, we set it to 10k or less, so yes are budget did drop below 10k. but if that was such a big issue it should of been address to us verbally and in our sign contract. Which it is not in our contract that is attach to this complaint. We never said that we wanted to terminate our contract with Allison. Allison kept bringing it up in conversation we had verbally and in text message, and at one point we told Allison that we had to discuss it since it seem she did not want to work with us any more with reason we did not understand.  Allison then took it upon herself to end the contract with us, which in the contact that we both sign I do not see where she can terminate the contract whenever she wants to.
 
Venue
  Yes, we agree on the [redacted] Cruise Line for our wedding. Allison never informed us that it was going to be costly to book the venue, we talk to the vendor that Allison set up for us to speak about booking the [redacted] Cruise Line for our venue for our wedding and to go over the details and to see if this is a tangible thing we can fit in our wedding budget. After the vendor gave us the quote of 3,125 dollars and not 2,500, we choice this venue even though it was a little pricey, because we felt the venue is important for our wedding. I believe it is are choice on how we spend our budget and not Allison choice. If this was an issue it should have been written and address in our contract we also were inform by the vendor that we should use the cruise line catering services, but are not require to use the cruise line catering services and that if we wanted to use outside catering service we will have to be charge $300 outside catering fee which is in line 16. of the [redacted] Cruise Line contract that is attach to this complaint.  Also we were informed by the vendor that we could only use the alcohol that [redacted] Cruise Line provided. [redacted] and [redacted] then discuss about booking the venue with each other and inform Allison about a week after we met with [redacted] Cruise Line vendor that will go ahead to book with [redacted] Cruise Line for our wedding and also to use the Cruise line services. Later in the week after booking the venue Allison informed us that the vendor said we cannot use [redacted] Cruise Line catering service and that we cannot use the wine that the Cruise line provides and we had to pay the 15 dollar cork fee if we wanted wine on the boat and the $300 outside catering fee. We agree to what Allison told us about what the vendor said and we would look at another the cater that Allison suggest for us to look at. we also agree on the cork fee for outside wine., at no time did [redacted] suggest that she needed a sweet, sweet white wine to be on the boat since she barely drinks alcohol and it was not a deal breaker if she did not have sweet, sweet white wine on the boat. Also at no time did the vendor or staff ever say we are a difficult couple to work with and refuse to work with us, if that was the case the cruise line would not have offer us to sign a contract with [redacted] Cruise Line company.
 
OFFICIATE
  Yes, [redacted] is still technical married and that his divorce would be finalize October 24th 2016, which is still plenty of time before the wedding on November 5th 2016 and it is also plenty of time to get the wedding license since in the state of Washington you have to wait three days after the divorce is finalize. Again if this was a big issue it should been address in the contract that we and Allison sign.  
 
PHOTOGRAPHER
  Yes, we agree to meet with Allison friend that was claim to be a professional photographer to take our engagement photos and if we like her work to go along with the wedding photos. At no time did we love the work she did, Allison actually said we like her friend’s photos on Allison photography friend Facebook page we actually ask Allison if her photography friend could edit and change the photos, because there was a lot thing we did not like in the photos. Allison did not give us any other choices for a photographer, so we had no choice but to use her friend to take our engagement photos of us. Her friend at any time could of stop the photo shoot, but we suggested to go somewhere from the original spot at the space needle in Seattle, and Allison photography friend agree.  we also ask Allison photographer friend to capture a picture of us in full view of the space needle. Allison photographer friend seem confuse and said she did not know how to take the picture we requested and could not find the right angle and walked around in a circle confused. For us that was the whole reason why we met at the space needle to take a picture in front of it and we were assure by Allison that it would be a possible thing to do. We thought that was very unprofessional thing to do to go back on her word when we were assure that it could be done. It is very insulting thing to accuse someone to be racists and to be personal attack like that, at no time have we verbally or threaten to attack Allison or Allison vendors in anyway and its seems very unprofessional of Allison to run business like that and to attack clients. I am surprise you have been in this business so long if this is how you act with your clients. we then ask Allison if she knew any other photographers because we were not happy with her friends work, she did not reply to us for several days (which is unusual for her to do since we started working with her), so we felt she might have thought it was a personal insult that we did not use her friend for our wedding pictures and was hurt and refuse to speak to use for a while. We took it upon on ourselves to find another photographer since we did not have time to wait for her response since we had to waited 3 days or more for her to respond already and we did not have time for her temper tantrum to end since [redacted] had to leave for military training soon and could not help with the wedding plans. We found a photographer we like that was a little bit expensive but we like his work. We set up appointment with the photographer and he was willing to work with our budget. When Allison did final contact us we told her we continue with our wedding plans and found a photographer we like. She then took it upon herself to talk to photographer we like and change the deal with photographer that said we have unlimited photos at our wedding and Allison said we did not have that deal and we did not have editing privileges. We spent countless hours trying to negotiate with the photographer for that deal, and we found it to be unprofessional what Allison did and screw up our deal with the photographer.
 
Cater
  We never wanted to hire outside catering service we were fine with the [redacted] cruise line catering service. Allison said we had no choice but to hire outside catering, because Allison told us that the Cruise Line catering service was too busy and was willing to let us use outside catering, but still had to be charge outside catering fee and the corkage fee. Allison then said that she recommended this catering company that would have the food we like. We agree, Allison found a catering service according to her that was giving a us great deal and it was 4000 dollars and we were getting all this extra stuff for free. Half the stuff Allison said that was in the deal we did not want, but Allison still push and insisted we use the catering service, which we had no idea why she was harassing us about going with this catering service. We ask Allison if we could use another catering service and she keep insisting we had to use this catering service and that we were getting such a great deal, which we did not agree too. Allison then said that if you want a better cater that [redacted] needs to find one herself. So we had no choice but to use another catering service. I do not know where Allison got the idea that we had 45 to 50 guess showing to our wedding. It was always going to be a small wedding 23 guess or so. So when [redacted] talk to the new catering service we estimated for 30 people in total including the vendors. After we talk to the new catering service and got the price and the food we wanted. We then told Allison that we found a cater that was in your budget and we like the food that they provided, Allison then took it upon herself to call the new catering service and to increase the amount food to feed 35 guess and assure us that the price was going to be the same. We thought that did not sound right. [redacted] then called the new catering service to make sure what Allison was telling us was accurate. The representative that deals with the estimates with food said of course that was not accurate and that we are not going to give 5 orders of food for free. We then told Allison that what she said was not accurate according to the catering service that we decided to go with and that the price was going to change and also we think that feeding 30 people was enough food for everybody that was coming on the boat.
 
Beauty Service
  Yes, Allison did find [redacted] that was a hair stylist and makeup artist and arrange appointment to meet and to do [redacted] hair and make up for our engagement photos and we did enjoy her service. We did ask if she had any deals since we were trying to stay in budget, and also because Allison made it out that all her vendors she work with had some kind of deal.  Again if that was something we were not supposed to ask vendors to reduce or have some kind of deal it should have been stated in the contract.
 
Cake
 
Nothing happen with Allison cake vendor because she decided to terminate the contract.
 
Contract
 
Yes, we have paid Allison 3 payments of
 
1.     560 on 7/1/16
2.     540 on 7/15/16
3.     550 on 8/6/16
Total 1,650
 
We feel that Allison did very little work for what she was charging us and we still continue to want to work with her, but she cancels the contract for reason that were stated in the contract and now for some reason a problem in the bullet points below.  I do not know why Allison felt threaten by [redacted] he never was threating or attack Allison or her vendors, and if you ask any of the people that know [redacted] they would say he is a gentle calm easy going person. Allison you claim to be in the wedding planning business for a long time, so you should be use to dealing with different kind of people and personality types. Wedding are important time in people life’s and you should understand that people are going to be stressed in planning a wedding and what people want and what they need.  We feel that Allison did very little work and did not do a very good job for looking for vendors and we did all the work for her and that we would like a full or some of our money back,
 
1.     Allison complain that we change the date even though it was stated on the contract November  5th or November 12th  was going to be our wedding date. Allison recommended to do November 5th because of day light     savings, so we agree on what Allison said.
2.     The Budget did change from 10k to less because life happens and things change that were not in our control. Like I said before if this was issue and it would terminate our contract with Allison it should have been stated in    the contract.
 
We did discuss with Allison about having a after party at a hotel, but we decided to not go ahead and do it.
 
Also Allison threaten to sue us and to put a restraining order on us which we thought was unprofessional since we are not the ones that terminate the contract or threaten her in anyway.    Sincerely,[redacted] and [redacted]

They haven’t even seen the entire disk of almost 100 photos before they passed judgement.  My photographer was giving them an amazing deal to help me out of only 1000k for all day photography. Also my photographer did a 3 hour engagement session with them on Aug 6th & walked the entire downtown Seattle with them just to please them.  She could have charge 300 more.  Given the fact that the engagement session was only supposed to be 1 hour (like all engagement sessions).    I am really unsure what the exact reason was for them not liking [redacted] work-but I feel it may be a personal problem or race issue?

Then couple went behind my back, and found a different caterer.  They told me they found a caterer that will only charge them 2500.  I told them that was a great price, and asked who the caterer was.  I called caterer, and they told me yes only 2500 but only for 30 guests, and didn’t include cake.  So now the clients guests count has change without informing me.  Of course 20 guests less would be less price!!
