To Whom It May Concern;
We were retained by Mr*** and there was a consult completed with him to verify information on his credit report There was an action plan put into place and Happy Credit started contacting the credit bureaus and had some delays in getting
responses from Mr*** We did receive them eventually which slows down the process We had several instances where Mr*** insisted on calls rather than email notifications, which is how we post for each client in their portal This helps the client as well as the staff to ensure everyone is on the ***e page We accommodated this as much as possible as some items need to be posted to the account Unfortunately Mr*** is hard to reach by phone and the staff would leave voice messages for him and not receive calls back Happy Credit continued to work on his credit file beyond the payment terms with no additional charges to the client His credit profile started with the following amount of items on each bureaus and ended with the amount reflected below as of 2/which is the last report we received from Mr***
Experian items in dispute items remaining 67% removed
Equifax items in dispute items remaining 67% removed
Transunion items in dispute items remaining 62% removed
Letters had continued to be sent out to the bureaus and the creditors to verify the accounts that were reported on Mr***s account and in March of 2013
the last task was that Mr*** wanted was to settle some of his collections that were left on the credit report and we had one of the staff members arrange a telephone meeting with Mr*** to find out the specifics of what he was willing to pay for these collection as well as get his cooperation in this process We require that the cilent post what they are willing to settle the account for as well as reviewing the information we receive back from the collection companies The staff member was treated very rudely by Mr*** and was offended by his language he used during this conversation in April of He was asked several times to post in writing in his portal the amount in which he would settle each account for and he never did this Then he was asked to pull a trimerge credit report to review his credit report as we did not have the responses from the bureaus and needed to verify this information When the staff was unsuccessful in reaching Mr*** by phone and the portal, ***, owner, tried to reach him by phone and the portal the account was put on hold In July the staff tried again to work on the account and resent out all the letters to the collection agencies and the bureaus and never received any response from the client Since there had been several attempts to work on the account and the client did not respond to any notes in the portal or messages left for the client we have no other option than to cancel the account We cannot help a client that will not provide the tools that we need to perform our duties We needed responses from the collection companies, written notice from Mr*** as to what account he would settle and what amount he gave permission to settle for, sign the approved collection letters for payment, he needed to make payment directly to the collection company once settled We felt after four months of no correspondence from the client we had no other option than to cancel the account in November with no report as to what was left on the credit report since July
There was really only a few collection agencies that were needed to address and work was performed to get this last step completed for MR*** and a lot of hours spent to have this performed for him and nothing sent to us to resolve this last part that needed to be taken care of There were four members of the staff that tried to reach out to Mr*** and help him and just could not get his involvement that is required to help him We know people get busy and sometimes their credit falls off from being a priority for period of time but we can't force someone to make this a priority and do what we ask of them We also don't tolerate clients cursing at staff as Mr*** had to warned several times as it intimidated and offended several staff members in the office This was mainly due to he did not want anyone to post in his account and wanted to be called which the staff did their best to accommodate this but all our clients are told up front that the portal is the best avenue for communication

Revdex.com:
Why would I pay over 1,800 dollars to someone and not be in compliance? [redacted] and I personally spoke over the phone and had verbal agreements as to how much I had and was willing to settle. I was waiting on her as she told me to.I never received any settlements by mail and ive told them that and yes I get a little rude towards the end, they kept giving me the run arounds.
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Regards,
[redacted]

To Whom It May Concern;

Review: Mrs. [redacted] A. [redacted] violated her promise to serve and perform under our contract, and stipulations therein, and to her own admission promised a full refund of monies paid to her on my behalf. Furthermore, she baited me into additional services shortly prior to closing and/or moving her business location. The business address she claims on her Happy credit website on 4455 Murphy Canyon (which is also aligned to her other business Business Masons) is defunct and no longer being used.Desired Settlement: Refund of all monies paid totaling $2000.

Review: I hired [redacted] of Happy Credit in San Diego to repair my credit and raise my FICA scores because she was listed as a member of NASCO (National Association of Credit Service Organizations) which reports require their members to adhere to high ethical standards and comply with all their members of which, Happy Credit was listed in their membership. On NASCO's "National Association of Credit Services Organizations, which claims to advocate industry standards and ethical business practices for the credit repair industry."

In our initial phone conversation, [redacted] promised she could remove all of older out-of-date credit collections reports, remove all the tax lien reports, significantly raise my FICA Credit Scores, and help to rebuild my credit. And she claimed she accomplish all of the above within a few months, but at the very most, one year.

She offered me a fixed price of $1800, which she called her "Employee Discount Plan" and agreed to let me pay it out over the course of several months.

The bottom line is she absolutely NONE of the above. I paid her $1500 and in our last communication even offered to pay off the final balance assuming she was still working on my case. She ignored that response as I had communicated with her that I was extremely displease with her failure to meet the goals and deadlines she had promised she could do.

She used a client portal system for all email communications, which, before she shut it down, I printed off ALL of our communications, including a series of emails from me asking her to please call me over a period of THREE WEEKS, until I contacted Doug Parker, fonder and chair of NASCO and copied her assistant on the email. I also saved the last one where I offered to pay off the balance.

Upon contacting Mr. Parker of NASCO, I learned [redacted] was no longer a member of the organization.

The bottom line is she absolutely did nothing she said she could do and DID NOT perform the services nor accomplish the results promised!Desired Settlement: I am demanding she refund my $1500 and will continue to report her on every consumer advocate / compliant website until she does so.
