There are six Happy Day Spa locationsI only own three of them right now including South Sacramento, Folosm, and Natomas Recently I did not receive any complaint from my locationsIn my three location, we never try to steal any clients or customer
moneyWe are in the market for more than six yearsIf this kind of thing happen, it usually is because the frontdesk receptionist made the mistakeWe always do our best to make up our customers such as gift card certification etc.
If it happed in my locations, please let him/her to contact to me directlyI would like to solve this problem immediatelyIt will not make this kind thing happen any more.

Review: I received a gift certificate last May 23,2013 (Serial #[redacted]) from my employer for a 'one hour foot massage' and the certificate was purchased in Roseville, Ca. branch. I tried to use it today (June 2,2013) in Sacramento where it is much closer to my house. I called first for an appointment and that is when the Sacramento Branch did not honor the certificate. I called the Roseville Branch and they told me that it is OK but the Sacramento still refuses. I was tossed from one to the other and the horrible coordination with the staff almost lasted for an hour. My experience with them was so frustrating and disgusting and the Sacramento branch prevailed. I checked their website and it says that gift certificates are honored in all branches. Hope you can do something so their customers will be treated well. Kindly check also their skill in handling customers' complaints as well as the upkeep of their Sacramento branch. I will definitely return the certificate to the one who gave it to me and I just want that business establishment (especially the Sacramento branch) to be aware that there is a department that monitors their performance. They just put employees in their frontline that does not practice customer satisfaction.

Review: I received a full body massage from [redacted] on Saturday, November 15, 2014. During this time, I felt he touched me inappropriately. It was so bad that I stopped the massage. I asked the manager [redacted] for a refund of the prepaid massages I had bought, she refused. I had told her about the inappropriate massage. She made excuses for [redacted]. The [redacted] ended up coming. [redacted] told the officer that she had sent [redacted] home. This ended up being a lie and [redacted] was still in the establishment. [redacted] ended up being arrested.Desired Settlement: I want my money back for the prepaid massages I bought. I want Happy Day Spa investigated for what kind of shady establishment they are running. How many of their massage therapists are really licensed?????

Review: I had a one hour massage at this location, gave my masseuse a $15 cash tip, proceeded to pay for my massage with a credit card entering $0 for tip and a total of $40 for the massage. I then saw on my bank statement that the company had changed the total amount I had authorized my debit card to be charged from $40 to $46. Essentially they decided to give themselves and extra trip and steal from my bank account. Reading yelp reviews I see this has happened in the past and appears that it could be a persistent issue with this establishment. Perhaps they think their customers just won't notice if a few dollars extra here or there are charged. I can't believe a business that steals from customers is allowed to continue in operation.Desired Settlement: At a minimum a refund of what they stole from my bank account.
