measure the dog prior to ordering the harnessWe do offer return or exchange option even when customers make a mistake during the ordering process.The only requirement is for the customer to ship the item backThis information is available and shown on the product's description page as well as on the packing slip.According to the customer's provided she did not bother to measure the dog and not even sure what size she purchased.We are still happy to offer return or exchange to Ms Pittman as long as she returns unused harness back to usRespectfully ***

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:In reference to the written statement from the Happy Dog Place, I take offense to their ASSUMPTION that I did not measure my dog nor did I know which size I even ordered. In my original email, I clearly stated that I measured my dog's neck and chest PRIOR to ordering. I ordered a size up knowing a larger harness is easier to adjust than one that is too small. I have purchased many harnesses in the past and this company and brand have been completely misguided. The Happy Dog Place is fabricating information solely to protect their own interest. I did nothing wrong--I ordered a dog harness based off the size chart; it was too small; I asked for a return postage label due to the size chart being inaccurate. The Happy Dog Place has been very difficult to work with and very slow in their responses to emails. The company is fabricating information and putting the onus on me to protect themselves. This is not how a reputable company operates. This is why I filed a complaint.

I indicated that as far as I am concerned the company did not solve the problem by themselves. I did get a refund but only after I used Amazons refund guarantee.  This company would not have done it on their own without Amazon getting into the act.

Customer purchased a toy from our company that comes in a sealed package from the manufacturer. After opening the item customer realized it was damaged. 03/**/17 Customer contacted HappyDogPlace and was advise to call the manufacturer customer service for replacement. All contact information was...

also provided. 03/**/17 The same customer contacted us again and received exactly the same information. Based on the dealership contract with PetSafe manufacturer, all customer service that includes replacement of the items manufacturer is responsible for. As official distributor of PetSafe we have to follow the contract policies. At this time customer was fully refunded for the item
