The clip that secures the dog to their car seat came open and clipped to our dogs leg.
We purchased a car seat from Chewys. It was a HDP car seat. This car seat has a clip that is attached by a strap to the car seat. The purpose of the clip is to be able to attack the clip to a harness or collar keeping your dog secure. Well, some how our 7 month old Yorkie ended up with that clip opening and attaching itself to his lower leg. When we went to get him out of the car seat he screamed and tried to bite. I lifted the car seat out of the car and brought him into the house. Since he had long hair it was really hard to see what was going on. His left was lifted up by something we were not sure. First we cut the strap with the clip. That helped a little. Then we enlisted our neighbors help who cut off his harness. That released his leg but he was still in pain. We discovered that the clip had open and attached itself to Jacksons leg and that was the source of his pain. Our neighbor had to get a special wire cutter to cut the clip off which cause the pain to stop. It was so traumatic for Jackson as well as the rest of us. Thankfully Jackson is fine. I first called Chewys to tell them what happened. I do not want this to happen to another animal. The clip is not a good quality clip although I have to admit I love the car seat. Chewys response was wonderful. They were very concerned and kind. I spoke with Lisa. I was not asking for any compensation I really wanted to just get the clip to be looked at and maybe changed out. Well, Lisa left my number for the management team to call me back, per my request, and even refunded me the cost of the car seat...For me that was a positive response. I then contacted Happy Dog place and spoke with Daniel. He was rude and curt. After hearing my story he replied that had never happened before so he felt that the dog was responsible, Really?! a 7 months old puppy knows how to protect himself knows how to open the clip? He also said it must not have be clipped all the way...hmmm pretty sure it was! He really pretty much sent the message that it was either my fault the dogs fault just not theirs! I did not want to write a bad review but considering that they wont even consider the possibility that they have a problem I felt I had to let people know, to protect their animals...Hats off to Chewy and I hope that HDP refunds them for our refund.! http://www.happydogplace.com sent the wrong item Bought a KONG Squirrel got he Kong Mouse they will not send correct item wants me to pay return shipping and restocking fee for the mistake they made.
The item bought was $6.50 item sent was $1.75 and nothing but hassle over something so stupid

Review: I ordered a dog harness based off of HappyDogPlace.com's size chart. The harness I received was inordinately small for the size dimensions. It didn't begin to fit my dog's 12 neck, 21 inch chest. Based on these measurements, my dog would fit into a medium harness. I ordered a large knowing that harnesses can be adjusted. The large harness I received didn't begin to fit my dog, and to think I ordered a size larger! I emailed the company asking for a postage return label so I could send back their harness. The reply I received was a day later and only asking if I measured my dog AFTER I had received the harness. Of course not--and I even ordered up a size! I have yet to receive a response nor have I gotten a postage paid label.Desired Settlement: I require HappyDogPlace.com pay for return postage and to refund my original payment of $16.99.

Review: The ad on [redacted] stated "[redacted]!" The product sold was not ears, they are pieces of skin from the pig. I know to be true due to the pieces containing a layer of fat under the skin and a shaved layer of muscle tissue attached to the fat. Ears are cartilage with a layer of fat only at the end where the ear is connected to the scalp. I also know that the USDA mark is not placed on the ear and I have a piece with a USDA mark on it. I have attempted to reconcile the return of the items through Happy dog and through [redacted] (which is on appeal) I just want either my money back or the right items, but no one will help meDesired Settlement: I believe the company has the responsibility to refund my money and give me a postage paid return label to return their falsely advertised product to them. It came in 5 bags, I did open one bag and used 2 chunks out of it, but would like to return the unopened for a full refund and can return the other one for inspection by the company.
