That is not a valid receipt. I did not receive a receipt for my deposit of 150. I only received a receipt for my first month which I am not contesting and I have a copy of. My quarrel is regarding my deposit of 150.

Review: I began my business with happy face parking on November [redacted] 2014 when I deposited 100 for monthly car parking followed by another 100 the next day that totaled $200 cash for 30 days of parking. My first month I was content with the service the guys who work there are all very nice. On December [redacted] 2014 I left 150 cash deposit and had a balance of 50 which was to be paid on the [redacted]. I soon decided to cancel the month and just get my deposit back. I left several messages for the [redacted] who never got back to me. I did not park my car there since the [redacted]. I was told I could not get my deposit back because they have a no refund policy which is not stated anywhere nor was I issued a receipt that informed me of these terms upon deposit. I spoke with the [redacted] and was basically told that they dont have receipts nor the terms printed anywhere and that I could use my 150 deposit for 12 days of parking. I feel ripped off and misinformed because for the additional 50 I would've had 30 or if I knew I wasnt entitled to a refund I would've just kept my deposit until I was sure that I would park there for another month.Desired Settlement: I would like my 150 refunded because I no longer feel comfortable doing business with this establishment. The terms are not clear and their responses to inquiries are shaky and unreliable.

Response:

Dear [redacted], First and foremost I would like to apologize for the inconvenience, and I understand your frustration in regards to this issue. You made a partial payment of $150 on December [redacted], when your monthly fee is $200. You stated you would bring the difference at a later date even though payments are due from the [redacted] to the [redacted] of each month, and out of courtesy we granted this extension. On December [redacted] you returned and were claiming unused parking days and stated you would only pay your remaining balance if we allowed you to start your month on December [redacted]. It is clearly stated in the contract you signed that there is no credit for unused parking days, and our months run as calendar months due, so we offered you the $150 in credit to begin a daily parking rate, again out of courtesy. You refused this and every offer made by [redacted]. Unfortunately due to our parking lot rules and regulations, the contract you personally signed, and the sings which are clearly posted in the lo t we are unable to provide any refunds. Once again I apologize for this issue and I regret having to lose you as a customer but these regulations are consistent with all parking garages in our area.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

According to [redacted] my payments were due on the [redacted] of every month, not the 1-[redacted] like he claims. I would like a copy of the contract I supposedly signed along with my receipts for any payments made to this establishment. I was never informed of their cancellation policies. I made a payment of 150 cash on December [redacted] and repeatedly called to speak to management about cancelling thereafter because I was no longer going to park at that lot. No one got back to me until I persistently followed up. As a paying customer I'm entitled to know the terms and conditions upon payment. I would like receipts and my contract. You failed to explain your conditions and to get back to me in a timely manner so unless I get a check for the money I deposited I will continue to pursue this issue.
