On 2/25/My month old grand son had an appointment with the Main street location for well check and to treat a rash on his faceThey formerly went to the east Mesa location of Happy kids but the Main street location is closer to homeTravel time from our daughter in law's work in east Mesa off of Southern and Power and having to PU the child from the sitter they arrived about minutes late although when my son called around 4pm and asked he was told they were more than minutes late for the appointment something that my wife and daughter in law disputeSince this is the first trip to this location of Happy kids she apparently misjudged the time it would take to get there usually making the trip to the Mountain vista locationIt seems there is an unspoken policy about being minutes late at Happy kid'sThe office manager *** was asked about this policy and to clarify it by my wife but did not offer to clear up the matter opting to make things worse by threatening to call the police if they did not leaveThis is about a doctor's appointment for a toddlerNot a robberyI could picture my wife and daughter in law in handcuffs being tased by the overzealous Mesa police if there is no crime create one police force and my dangerous grandson off to child protective services because they were late to an appointment not knowing the set in concrete late policy and a lady in charge refused to rationally work things out without confrontationObviously this is not the first time *** has created such a messI take great offense to what happened and how dare *** make any threats at all top call the PoliceHer uncaring manor hurt my grandson who needed treatmentThis is not RussiaShe is in charge hopefully not for long and this is how she handles the situationI called different happy kid offices including the Main street one asking for a corporate phone numberNo one ever came back on the line at the Main street one so I hung up and called a Phoenix officeThey gave me the number ***I called the number and got a person who identified himself as COO of Happy kids *** ***When asked about the minute late policy he explained it to me in much detailThe policy is however not public record and is not available on their web site nor was it provided to my son or his wife verbally or in writing at any appointment prior until being informed of it very harshly and sternly todayDuring my discussion with *** *** I had the feeling he was not interested in what I had to say and he seemed to patronize meJust tell me what I wanted to hear to get me off the phoneHe did offer up an apology for the Main street office manager's conduct however sorry is not the cure all fix allHe wouyld not go any further opting to hear the other side of the issueW e all know how that conversation wentOur side of the issue is muteNo one can fight city hall they sayOr in this case the family running Happy kidsI understand *** *** has to hear both sides and will without a doubt take the side of his office manager who shares the same last name as he doesThe Main street office manager is *** Carrusco*** ***A matchThis is a pediatric office not a prison***'s and others in that office their conduct is that of prison guards and ***'s attitude much worseMy wife is the most caring person there isShe will however when it comes to our kids and grand kids become defensive when they are being done wrongIf someone is being sarcastic they get the same backMy grand son has a rash on his face that needed to be attended to todayThat did not happen thanks to *** wanting to get the police involved because of egotistic uncooperative uncaring attitude and showed us where her heart isIt surely is not in this for the kids given the way she conducts herself with the parents who by the way are not convicted criminals and it's not a death penalty crime to be lateThis is not a perfect world*** and *** for that matter both need sensitivity trainingProfit not customer service just might be what they are both in this pediatric thing forHappy Kid's !!!That's a jokeThe only thing happy about it is their pay checksThese people running this place need to realize that without people like us with good health insurance they lose money big timeBad PR is a real thing these days and I fully intend on passing some of it on about this placeHappy Kid's has seen the last of our family and hopefully others who do not have to put up with dictator take it or leave it like treatmentMy wife regardless of what she was asking deserved an educated detailed responseObviously *** is incapable of acting intelligently or rationallyShe has to expect to get back what she gives outMy wife should have been the one threatening to call the policeIt's a crime to be treated this wayI did discover that *** *** is the man in charge answering to no one and has no intention of even considering his family member acted inappropriately*** as the big man needs to take a close look at how his family does businessI know nothing will come of this complaintThey will come up with a theory that shows my wife as a monster and my grandson as a criminalI do want to stress the fact my wife has not even had a parking ticket in her years and having a threat made to call the cops over her insistence of an explanation and accountability from a person who is in charge of a place that treats children is not to
