regarding the customer referenced above, please be advised of the following:Mr*** closed a purchase transaction with Assured
mortgage in December of At the time of the application, it was discussed
that Assured Mortgage would
collect an upfront fee of $to cover appraisal
costs for the subject property that was being purchasedThe Loan Officer
showed a credit for that fee on the initial Loan Estimate and a copy of that
estirnate was given to the borrower at application.However in this case, Mr*** failed to submit the fee
of $for the appraisal and no monies were collected from him for this
purposeMr*** references this fact in his letter to youTherefore, no
credit was given to him at closingHad the $fee been collected during the
application or loan process, the appraisal fee on the Final Closing Disclosure
would have been shown as a credit "Paid Outside of Closing" and his
