Charged 15% gratuity automatically in my ticket without prior notice. I dined at this location on Sunday 03/15/2015 AT 5:23. It was only myself and boyfriend and we were charged a 15% gratuity on our ticket. There was nothing posted stating that all tickets are charged a standard 15%. My order total was $45.10 the added gratuity was $6.17. My server was [redacted],Station 3, order# XXXXXX, Table A-18. I am outraged that this happened because I tip based on the service I received. So Happy Mexican is demanding that we tip them regardless of service good or bad. Desired SettlementI would like Happy Mexican to stop this unfair practice. I believe customer service representatives should receive tips based solely on the way they provide services to the public. I think Happy Mexican is doing this because they are losing their customers based on poor services because the server was not very tentative, he was also slow with bring the drinks and appetizers to the table. So with that being said I think the customer should have control over how much they tip and if Happy Mexican wants the server to receive a certain amount per table then they may need to increase the server's pay.

I recently went to Happy Mexican on 9/28/2013. The food was not properly cooked and the drink served was tasted old. So I asked for a manager and he immediatledly came to the table with bad Customer Service stating he never gets complaints at his location. I tried explaing to management that the food was not done and to please take a look and this has nothing to do with others just my individual food and drink. Manangement stated he didnt care anythingserved in his restaurant will be paid for whether its acceptable to public or not. I then asked for a corporate number. Maangement refused to give me corporate number. I had to call bakc next day ask for it and he then provided a local number in which I have left svereal messages for someone to call me back in concerns to this matter.Desired Settlement I would like for Corpparate to contact me so they can be made aware of the poor Customer Service at thsi location. I also would like to be provided a refund or gift card for total of receipt, to use at another location. I still have the receipt if it is needed. The total was $25.86.

When the waitress brought my receipt to the table, she kept it in her hand and asked me how I would pay, cash or credit card. I told her credit card and gave it to her. When she brought the receipt back to me, she did not bring the receipt with the breakdown of what we ordered, only the receipt for me to sign and add the gratuity. I added the gratuity and signed it. I finally decided to ask for a breakdown of my bill. She said sure. When I got the receipt, I found out that the drink cost was higher and she had already added a gratuity before she brought the total to me to sign. She explained the higher price for the drink, saying she doesn't normally work day shift. She also said the computer had added on the extra gratuity. I asked her to return one of the gratuities.I called back later to talk to the manager. ( I had a doctor's appointment earlier and did not talk to the manager when at the restaurant.) The manager seemed defensive at first, saying he did not have a waitress with the description that I gave. After realizing who I was talking about, he then seemed to minimize my issue. He said he could not give me the price of the drink she quoted, but he would return the gratuity. He never apologized to me for what happened to me, never seemed concerned about what his employee was doing and minimized the incident. I tried to contact the owner with the telephone number I received, but no one ever answered the telephone or called me back. I wrote a letter to a name and address found on the internet, but never received any correspondence. I believe this is a regular practice of this waitress and the restaurant employees.
