Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my dispute Please enter your reason(s) for rejecting the business response below Regards, [redacted] These statements made by the owner are absolutely false! It's apauling! I absolutely did complain that I was in pain! I told the lady doing my pedicure multiple times that my foot was burning and stinging and that something was very wrong Her response to me was "your feet are just dry." Once she finally stopped scraping- the damage was already done I came to the salon with my daughter and her friend-- they both witnessed this! When I came back into the salon- the next day to show them what they had done to my foot- it absolutely looked just like the photos, because I took photos!! The photos I took are DATE stamped--- I would be more than happy to send them to you! Not only were customers gasping at how bad my foot looked-- so were many of her employees! The owner, Heather did not even look at my foot! She was VERY arrogant, rude and could have given a care less! I had to beg just to get my money back-- at which time, she informed that "she would not cover my medical bills if I did in fact have an infection!" If she didn't think my foot was bad, why would just have even mentioned the possibility of me having an infection! My daughter was with me and heard the entire conversation if you would like to speak with her The following day, I did in fact go to my Drfirst thing in the morning because I couldn't walk on my foot (could put no pressure on the bottom of my foot at all)- and barely walk on the other foot as well (because I also have gashes in my heel on my left foot! I have pictures of this as well.) The Drtook a culture- and turns out not only is my foot VERY infectedI have a staph infection! A very bad staph infection in fact that is resistant to most medications! I have been very ill!!! I've missed work, can barely walk, have been in extreme pain I am on a VERY strong antibiotic- 1000mgs a day!My husband was NOT rude at all He was very calm in fact He simply went into the office and requested their insurance information Per the Cosmotology board, who we have also contacted to file a complaint they must give that information if requested He requested it- received the infomation, only after she continually argued And, we filed a claim with their insurance company right away We have not submitted pictures or medical bills to them as of yet, because they aren't ready for me to send them yet I joke spoke with the insurance company this morning and they are calling me on Wednesday to get my formal statement- and obtain all my information So that too is completely FALSE! I have all kinds of "proof." I have photos, medical bills, lab records showing the staph infection I would more than happy to send this over to you Please let me know how I can get this to you And what my next step should be I don't want anyone to have to go through what I've had to go through I'd be happy to submit a formal statement- whatever you need Thank you! I cannot accept this response because it is filled with lies.   She may have somewhat apologized about my "feet" but she is lying in many ways to keep her business from looking bad.   She is being very unethical.  They are the reason I am in the situation I am in.  They were clearly negligent.  And, aren't taking any responsibility for that.As I stated in my initial complaint (as you read my statements my story does not change as hers does multiple times)-  I first walked into their shop showing whoever was at the desk my feet (namely my right foot,) and requesting a refund.  My foot was clearly very badly cut up from an instrument they used on my foot.  There is NO WAY to deny that!  And, no way to deny it was due to the nail technician's negligence (I don't know her name by the way- they never gave it to me.)  One employee as I stated before (also was not given a name), did take me straight back to the chairs in the back and gave me a cream.  I honestly have no idea what this cream was- looked like some sort of prescription.  A little scary that they would be offering a prescription type cream when they are not Drs.  Then also, as I stated before- this employee tried to send me on my way out the door with the cream.  During this time, the owner, Heather did not get up from her chair.  Nor did her "witness"- (and I do not believe this "witness" is credible- #1- how do I even know that this was in fact the lady sitting there at the time I was there in the salon.  She could list anyone's name and claim they were there at that time.) and #2- I did not show the entire shop my feet!  I showed the lady standing at the desk!   And, finally #3- even if she were in the salon when I came in to to ask for a refund- she was not there to witness my feet getting cut up on the day of the occurance.  But, I do also have 2 witnesses that would be happy to discuss that day with you (and how I absolutely did tell the technician how bad my feet were burning and stinging and that something was VERY wrong.)  And if you wanna delve into witnesses, my daughter was there standing right next to me the day I came back in- and would also be more than happy to speak with anyone you would like.  She was with me the whole time- went with me to the back when I was given the cream, stood with me at the front, watched me show the lady at the desk my foot, watched me ask for a refund- all of it!   Whoever was sitting in the chair having their nails done- if it were in fact this lady she claims, the lady sitting there never moved from her chair!  Not once.  She never got up.  And, I never went over to her.  So, there is no way she witnessed what she states. She did NOT take the cream away from me because I told her I was going to the Dr., because they didn't want to make complications worse.  Not true at all!  I never told her for sure I was going to the Dr.  However, I did say that I may have to go to the Dr.  She took the medicine out of my hand after I argued for a full refund- after she first offered me a half refund stating that they still did a good job.  Good job?  I got a staph infection!  My foot was cut up so bad yes, of course I was limping!  And, speaking of limping- for her to say I wasn't limping or only limping spontaneously is not only VERY cruel and insensitive to say on her part but also again very untrue.  I'm assuming she has never had a bad staph infection on the middle of her foot.  My foot was severely cut with gashes in my heal.  It HURT horribly to walk on it.  I was in a lot of pain.  Staph infections are not only very painful but also very scary.  The staph infection I have is resistant to many medications- so they are trying one out in the hopes it will clear up the infection completely.  And, I will be on antibiotics for at least the next 2 months!  I am also seeing a infectious disease Dr. to make sure I am on the correct course with the medication.  Staph is very dangerous and nothing to mess with.  And, I got received it from their salon.  I don't know if I got it from dirty instruments, the fact that the water I put my feet in was ice cold and had been sitting there.  My cut up foot got infected with staph.I never asked her to pay my medical bill at this time because I hadn't even gone to the Dr. yet.  But, yes, I did mention that more than likely I would need to go to the Dr., and would assume she would be responsible for my medical bills- at which time she responded No.  We are giving you a refund and that's it.  We are not paying anymore.  I have stated all of this before- my story has never changed! When I went to the Dr. is none of her business.  For her to mention that- #1- what does that have to do with anything?  I DID go to the Dr.- the next day, and thank God I did!I was NOT overly loud- so NO not all the clients in the shop did not see and hear me!  Not true.  But, the few who did- who were also at the very front of the salon- did gasp when they saw my foot.  How could they not?  It was very cut up!  And looked awful. And, yes, after she was being SO rude and uncooperative- I did mention that I may have to get a lawyer involved.  Yes, I did.  And, I have every right to do that.  After all I have been through- as much pain as I've been in, etc., I have every right to seek an attorney if I wish.  But, by no means did I ever threaten her.  I was the one who walked out of the salon in tears from the way "I" was treated! They may have been open many years and never had a problem like this before.  But, guess what- it only takes one time.  If you didn't mean to be rude- then why are you responses to the Revdex.com so insensitive.  I have photos (time stamped) to prove what my foot looked like and still looks like.  No- it is not healed yet.  It's a BAD infection.  And, it's going to take a long time to heal.   For you to bring up insensitive comments about how I was limping spontaneously is just plain cruel.  I would never wish anyone go through this.  This has been a complete nightmare!  To the Revdex.com:  I do not wish to list my witnesses names and phone numbers here for all to see (for their privacy)- but I would be more than happy to give you their information if you would like to contact me.  I also have my medical records but because of HIPAA laws- I will not be posting them.  But, if you would like to take a look at them, I would also be more than happy to send them to you to help with your investigation.  Whatever you need from me, I more than happy to provide.

Revdex.comMESSAGE FROM BUSINESS:We're so sorry about your feet. We didn't want this to happen. We hope your feet get better soon. When she entered the shop she requested a refund. Our employees looked at her feet. They gave her a foot medicine but I took it back because she said she was going to the doctors and we didn't want any complications in making the foot worse. She stopped by the reception desk and I've been doing another customers nails at that time but I has to stop and looked at her feet before giving her the refund.  She then threated to mention about family lawyers if I didn't refund her. After she left we saw on Facebook that she said," I couldn't even walk on the one foot without limping". But she should have been to the doctor first if she was in pain instead of going to our shop. She was walking pretty fine when she entered the shop and down to the chairs but when she walked back up she was spontaneously limping. The clients in the shop all saw and heard her. A fellow client will be our witness Mrs. Yolanda Ray (the lady I was working on). We didn't refuse to pay her  medical bill, but she said she will go to the doctor. And we said we would pay if she brought her the bill. A few day later...her husband stormed into the shop and request our insurance policy  with a demanding tone.He than later started to take pictures of the shop while I was trying to hand him our policy. He didn't have any document or say what he was doing beside he was going to send the complaints to our insurance people. Once we gave him our insurance his tone changed completely form demanding to a nicer tone.We have been open for many years and we never had this problem before. We always try to respect our customers and their opinions too. We didn't mean to be rude to you or mean to hurt you in any way.
