Happy Spa

Review: On October 23rd I went to Happy Spa for my scheduled appointment at 7pm. I went in for a full body and foot massage. As soon as I walked in they asked me to pay the total amount upfront and did not offer a receipt. I did not fill out any medical or consent forms. During the full body massage the masseuse was stretching my legs and pushed so hard that my ankle popped. I was in excruciating pain for about 10 minutes. I asked for a hot towel to help soothe the pain. When the pain became manageable I was able to limp out of the office where they demanded a tip. When I gave them a small tip they said it wasn't good enough and I needed to give a bigger tip, that's when I walked out. The next day I was still in pain and my foot and ankle were swollen. By October 25th my ankle did not improve and I went to see a doctor who said I had a sprained ankle.By October 29th my ankle was not healing and I was still in a good amount of pain so I went back to the doctors. They had the same diagnosis of a sprained ankle. At this point I returned to Happy Spa and asked to speak with a manager. The manager was not available so they called him and allowed me to talk to him. I explained everything that happened and asked for a refund, the man refused saying that at the beginning of the massage I should have told my masseuse to go softly. I told him I was only asking for a refund because I am already injured and again he refused and said they have insurance but denied to give me their information. Nothing was resolved.By November 11th my ankle was still not healing so I went to see my doctor again. This time they gave me crutches, put me on medical leave from work for a week and modified activity for three weeks.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of the massage, reimbursement of my medical bills and some of my missed wages.
