I was referred to Mr. Hewlett A. P[redacted] for installation of flooring. He replaced flooring in my living room, hallway, and den. Shortly after the installation, the borders of the flooring came loose. He was paid in full upon completion of the job. We also wanted him to do additional work to the house. We called him several times, and he promised to return to fix the borders. My husband even waited for his arrival. He never came back nor would he return our calls. This took place in June of 2014.Product_Or_Service: FlooringDesired SettlementWe would like the job finished. If he does not respond, we would like for other consumers to know that he is not reputable. He states that my husband did not return his call last year. My husband called him repeatedly to get him to come back to finish only the border around the laminated floors. Since he responded to the Revdex.com that he was willing to repair, my husband called him on Wednesday, September 23, to return to resolve this issue. His response was that since we have filed this complaint, he sees no need to make the repairs because a complaint is registered on his record. It does not matter to Mr. Pettis that if this issue is resolved, his record would show that the matter was satisfactorily resolved. Please post this so that others will not encounter what we experienced in using the services of Hewlett Pettis. (HAPS) I have spoken to others who have recently experienced the same with Mr. Pettis.
