I am rejecting this response because: I gave them a drawing on May 1, and received the first "proof" on May I called the store to verbally tell them what items needed to be revised - reduce state logo 10%, make the elephant and Facebbooks logos equal height and increase 3%I drove mins to hand deliver the revised changes after two days of no responseBy Monday morning no proof with revisions had been received so I was forced to contract with another company that cost $more, but who wrote down my specs and produced the desired product within three daysMy event was the following SundayLater, that afternoon, the proof arrived from Hometown; however, it was the very same design sent a week earlier with no requested revisionsAt that point with only a few days before it was due, I felt the relationship had become untenableI called to request a refund of my deposit, citing their inability to complete revisions in a timely manner - actually no revisions to reduce state logo 10% had ever been doneThe owner refused to issue a refund and demanded that I come to the store - minutes awayThey tried to charge me for unprinted product which I did not see mentioned in the origianal work request.He proceeded to argue with me and brought his "artist" over to continue itI leftThey again emailed me a "proff" that DoD not reflect the original requested revision to reduce the state logo 10%, further proving their inability to listen to the customer, and or read instructionsMy request for a full refund of the $deposit was valid, since they had proven more than once, that they were incapable of producing a requested product that a competitor had no problem completing in one third the time, yet at a higher costThe business relationship was broken from the get go with Hometown, I would never recommend this business in the future as they seem to be incapable of simple design revisions that a competitor handled with ease and efficiency

says she emailed more than once but she did notWe did everything that was asked of us but got no response by emailShe called and then came by the store demanding a refund because we were incompetentWe ordered in her t shirts and I told her she could either have the shirts or we could return them but she would have to pay the restocking and shipping fees, we also incurred charges for the artist's workWhen the order was placed I told her that it would take business daysWhen she demanded the refund she was arguing that it had already been daysI told her it's business days as we do not work on Saturday or SundayWe tell each customer the same thingShe said she only gives anyone chances to get it right, she never gives anyone chancesIn our industry there can be multiple changes before a finished productI told her if she would stand by me we could get the work completed but she refusedI told her I would not be refunding the $as we had incurred costI would have given her partial, she could have had the shirts or she could have sent the shirts backShe was unreasonable and hard to work with because she would not respond to usAll of our responses to her requests were made immediately within the next business day
