I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
Regards,
*** ***
This is nothing more than a he said, she saidThe fact of the matter remains, that my hair color speaks for itselfI was not trying to get a free haircutI did meet Shelby at a college Success seminar, I did ask if she did hair at homeI also gave her a price range that I could affordShelby stated that she didn't have the product to my hair on the side and come in to the shopI scheduled an appointment and had to cancelI rescheduled expecting to pay Shelbey for doing my hairI will also state that I did have a discrepancy and was very apprehensive in getting my hair done again by a new stylistAlso, for the record, Officer *** was mistaken in stating that I have a history of doing thisAs I have stated, my hair is ruined and I am still unhappy with the situationI was charged and I still need my hair fixed

face="Times New Roman">I will begin addressing this complaint by establishing events prior to [redacted] appointment. [redacted] attends college with her stylist, Shelby, she had asked Shelby several times to do her hair at home, and Shelby declined. On the day of [redacted] appointment she immediately said before any service was started that she had been to other salon's and did not like how her hair had been done and had sued and had gotten her money back. Another stylist, Amy works beside Shelby and heard all conversations between [redacted] and Shelby. [redacted] came to the salon with at least 3 inches of gray roots showing she explain to Shelby (stylist) that she wanted her gray cover and she wanted blonde highlights. Shelby thinking she wanted color started to apply color to [redacted] gray. As Shelby applied the color, [redacted] started saying Shelby was doing her hair wrong. Amy (stylist) went over and spoke to [redacted] to establish exactly what [redacted] was wanting. At this time it was determined [redacted] wanted a heavy foil highlight. Shelby then rinse the color out of [redacted] hair and proceeded to foil [redacted] hair. As Shelby was doing the foil, [redacted] complained and restated about suing other hair salons and would not pay if she did not like her hair. Amy (stylist) had to stop several times and ask [redacted] to quit be mean and rude to Shelby. After Shelby had gotten all the foils in [redacted] hair, [redacted] went out to her car, when she came back in she started telling Shelby again that she did not think Shelby was doing her hair correctly. [redacted] then informed us that she had google her information. After [redacted] hair had processed and the foils removed [redacted] asked to see a mirror, at this point she pointed out that she could see a dark line. At this time it was explain to her that after her was toned, which is common with highlighting, that once her hair was dry she would not see the line. As with all highlights not all of the hair is highlighted but once the hair is dried everything blends in and you cannot see any regrowth or gray. When it became clear that [redacted] was becoming more belligerent and there was no satisfying her, Amy (stylist) called Helen (owner) to come and deal with this situation. Upon Helens arrival she ask [redacted] what was wrong and after [redacted] told her, Helen proceeded to tell [redacted] the same thing she had already been told, once her hair was dry it would be fine. At this time [redacted] became aggressive in her behavior and Helen called the police. Officer Wes [redacted], badge #[redacted] of the Columbus Police Department arrived at Helen's request, not [redacted]. Upon arrival, Officer [redacted] immediately recognized [redacted] from previous situations like describe above. Officer [redacted] stated this situation was not the first time he had been called, because [redacted] had done this before. Officer [redacted] also stated she had been arrested several times for theft and assault and battery along with trying to complain like she did at our salon in order to obtain free services. At this point Officer [redacted] told [redacted] there was nothing wrong with her hair and she had to pay, if she did not he was going to arrest her for theft. [redacted] paid with a credit which had a different last name on it than she had given to Shelby. Officer [redacted] was still there when we ask if it would be ok to take her credit card and he said he witnessed her signing the charge for her hair service and it would be fine. [redacted]
did try to dispute the charge on her credit card but with all the information provided by our salon and police involvement the credit card company close the file and did not reverse the charge as [redacted] had requested. With all the information we have from witnesses and the police it is obvious that [redacted] was trying to get her hair done for free. [redacted] complaint is completely unfounded.

Sincerely,

 Helen [redacted]
