My go-to gym that has complete equipment to use. The workers there are friendly and helpful to me if there is anything I need inside the gym. Their instructors are also kind because they sometimes share some tips with me on how to use some equipment. This place have the best crowd because some of them greeted me even though I don't know them.

Review: I went to Harbor Fitness and spoke to a manager named [redacted]. I explained to him my situation that I am currently a hurricane sandy victim and needed only two months of service because I had my wedding on July [redacted]. He signed me up around Mid April to expire early June. Then he said two month term and your commitment expires. Now looking at my credit card they charged me twice for monthly service for July going into August, not ONCE they explained to me I had to cancel or give any notification to stop billing. I never authorized this and it's a scam! Complete bait and switch. I got lay off and I made him fully aware that I am not employed and plus lost my car and ALL of my DJ equipment to Hurricane Sandy. If I knew I was going to be billed, wouldn't I have not used their service? I tried to tell them to cancel me while on the phone that I don't want to see a single charge more, they refused to do so saying I have to come in and cancel in person, this is outrageous and scam of a company. They need to be red-flagged of their practices, I can swear to god they never told me about re-occurring charges after my two month payment.Desired Settlement: I would like them to cancel my membership and stop holding me hostage and scamming me out of money. I would like them to reimburse my two monthly charges of $69 each to my credit card of a service I never used. Don't they have a heart? I have lost so much the past year when hurricane sandy took away my car and everything in the basement, lost my job and the lost of my grandmother. These people should revise their practices and inform people and make them better aware of cancel policies
