Ben quoted a 6-month project This project is still incomplete after months He walked off the job after demanding money in advance of work being done and attempting to more than double the contracted prices midway through the project which was met with objection Even though he quoted the entire job and provided the contractor quotes, he later claimed things were not included even when they were in writing Additionally, the work was done very poorly or not according to the specifications Attempts to have him correct the mistakes were not well accepted Payments made to the builder assigned to contractors' work never made it to the contractors, which is a criminal offense in Michigan Also, the supervisor on the project has action pending against his license with the state of Michigan which was never disclosed This is now in litigation as expected Again, do NOT hire Ben F [redacted] or any of his companies to do work until you have checked with local inspectors and building companies to hear his history
