Harborside Hotel & Marina

These are absolute liesI did not book a handicapped room because my wife is not in a wheelchairShe just can't climb stepsI also complained to the front desk manager when I checked out. Also I emailed them and the parent company for a responseI watched three couples leave the hotel between and amTo say no guests were inconvenienced is not true I'm not the only one to complain on *** ***None has contacted me by phone or email at all

To whom it may concern, Guest *** *** * *** will not be receiving compensation regarding his one night stay, July 8th, 2015, here at the Harborside Hotel and MarinaThe downtown area of Bar Harbor lost power on July the 8th at approximately 11:PM, power was restored to
the property at 4:45am, and this was not a planned power outage- it was caused by equipment failure, beyond the properties controlMultiple businesses in the downtown area will be able to attest to the power outage, July 8thDuring the day of July the 8th, the power had flickered multiple times, the power company was made aware by our Regional Manager We took all proper procedures to ensure the safety and comfort for all of our guests, all of our emergency equipment were fully functionalNo guests departed early from property due to the power outage as many guests were not inconvenienced by the outage as the hours of the outage were limited to the overnight The guest is claiming his wife is handicap however the property was not made aware of this guest, nor did the guest book an accessible roomUpon departure there were multiple Managers on property, all of which are happy to make themselves available for any guests and happy to address any of their concerns. Mr*** *** review was the first time any manager here on property were made aware of any concern regarding the guests stayPrior to the guests review being removed- I personally responded to the guests review offering direct contact in order to rectify the situationI personally, nor other managers have received any contact from the guest. The guest did not provide ample opportunity for us to remedy a situation which was beyond the properties control, the property remained safe and secure during the time of the outage.
